That was really cool. I wonder why it's the largest one of it's kind that they've been able to detect beforehand? I would have thought it would be reversed.

The good news is it'll likely pass closer to the moon than to us.
The bad news is, if it was actually going to hit, about all the fuck we could do about it would be say our prayers & kiss most of our collective ass goodbye.
That's why I get such a laugh out of environmentally ill hysteria; that mankind is a threat to the Earth: Compared to something like that, we ain't shit...Never have been, either!

Diane - Good question, I don't know.
The FEMA broadcast tomorrow at 1:00pm Central time has me a little concerned, I mean they scheduled it a long time ago.

Galt - I heard it was going to be closer to the Earth than the moon but who knows for sure. I doubt the gov would tell us if it were going to hit.
I agree completely about the environment - a big asteroid hits or a big volcano erupts, it would surpass any co2 that man has made in seconds. Some people just like to be conned into paying "taxes" to Al Gore and his buddies.
