What a classy, brave and thoughtful individual John Green is – father of the 9-year-old girl murdered by Jared Loughner – Green contradicts the distasteful rush to exploit Saturday’s tragic events as a vehicle through which to eviscerate the 1st and 2nd Amendments.
Speaking to Fox News, Green labeled Loughner’s rampage a “random act” and said that the death of his daughter should not be exploited to revoke freedoms.
Speaking on the subject of how travel became a nightmare after 9/11, John Green said, “We don’t need any more restrictions on our society,” as a consequence of the shootings, and said that tragic events such as those that led to the murder of his daughter was the price Americans have to pay for freedom.

think it says more about the fact that bush cut all the money going to mental health and people aren't getting treated for their illness'..plus why didn't someone step up when he was acting crazy and do something..instead of saying NOW..gee we always knew he was going to do something..

YDG - I'm surprised that when Dems were in charge of everything they didn't fix that.
Not defending Bush, I think he and Obama are secretly on the same team.
Bush let 9/11 happen so that the patriot act could pass and he could start two wars. Obama is just the next phase - pretend to end the war in Iraq - expand the war in Afghanistan - Use the patriot act to put the TSA in airports - use homeland security against the American people instead of real terrorist - open up the Southern border - let illegal immigrants vote - put 1984ish telescreens in Wal-Mart
with Big Sis saying "If you see something - say something." trying to get the American people to spy on each other. He's a freakin nightmare. Have you noticed how Obama's approval rating went up after the "crisis" in Tucson? Looks like that Shapiro guy was right.
