Pizza Hut Cheese Made From GMO Food Starch And Silicone Plastic

Posted by JB Bardot

Leprino Foods, the world’s largest Italian cheese manufacturer, is the nearly exclusive supplier of Pizza Cheese to the 6000+ Pizza Hut restaurants in the U.S. To control costs (and boost profits), Leprino Foods uses patented manufacturing processes that add large volumes of water, salt and GMO food starch to so-called granules of Pizza Cheese prior to flash-freezing.
Pizza Hut cheese is not just cheese, it’s silicone plastic, which binds to form lasting fat. The antifoaming chemical, Polymethylsiloxane, used in Pizza Hut’s cheese has no FDA approval for use as a food ingredient.

Probably why I can't stand to eat that crap anymore, it gives me indigestion.
That "real" seal on the box means it's as real as reality TV.

Galt - It's sad how these companies get so caught up in profit margins that they lose sight of what brought them success in the first place.

Godfather's pizza use to be so extremely good, there was one on campus corner in Norman, Ok. I'd give it a 10 out of 10. But they sold their soul, I guess, now Godfather's is nothing special, at least the ones I've eaten at.
