KATY Perry's ex-boyfriend has been found dead after allegedly murdering his 81-year-old landlady and then falling off a roof.
Digital Pass - $5 weekend papers The Los Angeles County coroner's office overnight identified the two bodies as those of Johnny Lewis, 28, an actor who played Kip "Half Sack" Epps on Sons of Anarchy, and Catherine Davis, 81.
His body was found in the driveway of the Los Feliz home yesterday morning after neighbours reported hearing a woman screaming in the home, Commander Andrew Smith said.
The body of Ms Davis was found inside the home. "She was possibly beaten," although coroner's officials will determine the exact cause of death, Cmdr Smith said.
Lewis is said to have climbed a wall and fought with a housepainter at a neighboring home, returned to the woman's home and climbed the wall again to fight with the painter and the owner of the second house.
No one else was home at the time and investigators were not seeking anyone else for the crime, the commander said.
Cmdr Smith said that at some point, Lewis jumped or fell from the home's roof, garage or patio. "He could have fallen from any number of places or he could have tripped or fallen, or he could have jumped.
We don't know at this time," he said. It's also unclear whether drugs or alcohol are involved, Cmdr Smith said.
TMZ reports that a dead cat was also found at the scene and Lewis is thought to have killed the animal as well. Source: heraldsun.com.au
