This song always reminds me of this girl that was a patient at the mental hospital where I use to work.
She burned down her families house, crazy right?
Well turns out, not so much.
She was being molested or raped by her father, apparently for quite some time.
She couldn't take it anymore, but luckily, she wasn't the suicidal type.
She decided that something had to give though, so she started lighting things inside the house on fire.
When her father caught her (a little too late) he asked her
"What are you doing?!"
She replied
"Burning down the house."
And she did.
