36,000 vs 477

Seasonal influenza causes 36,000 deaths in the United States each year.

The H1N1 is a never-before-seen combination of human, swine and avian flu viruses, officials said. First detected in Mexico in February, it quickly spread around the world. The CDC had received reports of 477 deaths associated with 2009 pandemic influenza A (H1N1) in the United States

oh oh oh..I almost forgot to tell you...we have 4 cases of the h1n1 fucking flu..the west middle school has 314 students and monday approximately one third of them were either absence or had to be sent home..( we have a small but getting bigger hispanic population, and almost all of them go to Mexico for part of the summer to see the grandparents)
althought right next to the article about the flu was don't worry we're giving alcohol-base hand sanitizer to every one and westfest will go on as usual...arghgh

So far it's not as bad as the regular flu. We should start a hand sanitizer business!
