I sure hope those guys understand that the government will send in a swarm of gunships armed with mini-guns, rockets and hellfire missiles if - and when - the first shot is fired.
The government will - no doubt - lure them out into the open where there is zero coverage, where their camo suits and surplus flak jackets will be useless.
The first confrontation will be a one-sided slaughter. Then the feds will clamp down nationwide, citing "domestic terrorism", declare Martial law and start rounding up militia members everywhere, commence with gun confiscation, you name it.
If the government wants to crush this sort of thing quickly, nip it in the bud, they will move with a brutality never known before in America. We all will live the experience the Iraqis, the Afghans, the Vietnamese, the Palestinians have all been treated to by an unstoppable military armed with the most advanced weapons on Earth.
What survivors there may be will go underground - deep underground. They will not venture out into the open range twice. They will take cover in the cities.
The cities? Of course.
There will be no hiding out in the forests and rangelands anywhere. Things like FLIR mounted on gunships will find them quickly and effortlessly. Drones will find them. Satellites will track them.
The only chance they will have is if our military refuses to slaughter American citizens.
Time will tell. and time is short.

Bundy needs to move his cattle up here to Oklahoma where there's a lot of Bermuda grass for his cows to eat. He wouldn't need near as many acres per head.

I never really thought about it, but that makes a lot of sense.
You put a new wrinkle on my brain.
I use to have a science teacher that said for every new thought, your brain gets a new wrinkle, which was cool but then he said "Tex, your brain is smooth."
I wish the wrinkles on my face meant the same thing...LOL
