How close are we to Martial Law in the US?

I don't know about anyone else but what a preacher has to say about it won't make lick of difference to me, especially if they say that the government is established by God, I mean as soon as those words come out of someones mouth, you should know that they are full of crap. Is the Chinese government also established by God?
