Sweet. I need to get that super duper telescope. By the way, I was just re-reading your comment about your son being born in November during a cold front. Well guess what is coming through my neck of the woods this weekend. Happy Halloween.

Back in my college days several of us were partying pretty good when a guy named Gordon answered the phone, it was his mom. He was so messed up he told his mom "Happyween!"

My experience with spiritualists predicting apocalypse turns me skeptical, especially since according to folks like this guy we should all be 20+ times dead from asteroids, meteors, tectonic plate shift, zombies or what have you.

Galt - It's still working for me so, who knows. At least he said it would hit the moon and not the Earth. It does make me nervous when government hold drills though.
Here in St. Lucia there is a new trend with politicians in opposition stepping out to assist the communities they represent or hope to represent. I always asked the question why politicians in opposition are helpless and can only do things for their constituents when they are in government? This is changing now and it is a good thing. The life of a politician should be one of service whether in or out of office.
Have you ever wondered who is the one's responsible when it comes to promoting the champaign activities on the Democrat side? It is the Democratic National Committee or DNC. Currently the Democratic National Committee is being chaired by Howard Dean and he was the former Governor of Vermont. Have you ever noticed how we are being separated by political parties? The individuals who are Republicans are constantly downing the Democrats while the Democrats are downing the Republicans at the same time.Many people believe that the Democrats are the party of green and the party of hope for our environment, Global Warming and all the past good that has been done for clean air and water in the United States. But the truth is that is not exactly how it happened.

Google has just announced its new consolidated privacy policy. This makes it clear that they will keep data on all the Google services customers use (Gmail, Android, Chrome, YouTube, Picasa and about 55 more) - indefinitely. Cyber security expert, Richard Falkenrath commenting on this in an article in the Financial Times said that Google can now combine its facial recognition software, the tagging feature in Picasa, and contact-tracking in Gmail to make it possible for example, to locate individuals in any digital photo on any of its customers' databases, cloud services, smartphones, YouTube, you name it. Do they still pass the "creepy" test? Let's hope so.
