The trouble with Democracies

Democrats and the republicans should compromise on the Iraq policy. Stay and run?
Cut the course? No, I still say if it's a democracy they should let the Iraqis vote on if the U.S. stays or goes. That's one of the flaws of a democracy. Who decides what you get to vote on? Voted on any Federal laws lately?

I think it would be funny if they voted us out. But the U.S. won't let them vote because they might not vote the way bush wants them to.
It would be a perfect way out though.

if bush could award an election subcontract to haliburton or some other friend, he might just let them vote.

he wouldn't count the votes honestly but he might let them vote.

Hmmm... if our original intention was to rid them of the horrid dictator and give them the choice to have more freedoms and a democratic system - then we should show them the tools to do so - etc etc

But who is to say now, what our intentions were and are with that nitwit running the show - I've always contended that its partly a ploy..of searching for weapons of mass distr*action (that our boyz and girlz are paying for by the way) to take our attention off of the other things we should be concerned about.

His campaign of terror/fear has brainwashed his followers....gawd I cant wait until he is out of office - he's so friggin scary - worse Pres ever.
