Talking Heads - Life During Wartime

Will America soon be singing this song?

Heard of a van that is loaded with weapons,
packed up and ready to go

Heard of some gravesites, out by the highway,
a place where nobody knows

The sound of gunfire, off in the distance,
I'm getting used to it now

Lived in a brownstone, lived in the ghetto,
I've lived all over this town

This ain't no party, this ain't no disco,
this ain't no fooling around

No time for dancing, or lovey dovey,
I ain't got time for that now

Transmit the message, to the receiver,
hope for an answer some day

I got three passports, a couple of visas,
don't even know my real name

High on a hillside, the trucks are loading,
everything's ready to roll

I sleep in the daytime, I work in the nightime,
I might not ever get home

This ain't no party, this ain't no disco,
this ain't no fooling around

This ain't no Mudd Club, or C. B. G. B.'s,
I ain't got time for that now

Heard about Houston? Heard about Detroit?
Heard about Pittsburgh, P. A.?

You oughta know not to stand by the window
somebody might see you up there

I got some groceries, some peanut butter,
to last a couple of days

But I ain't got no speakers, ain't got no
headphones, ain't got no records to play

Why stay in college? Why go to night school?
Gonna be different this time

Can't write a letter, can't send a postcard,
I can't write nothing at all

This ain't no party, this ain't no disco,
this ain't no fooling around

I'd like to kiss you, I'd love you hold you
I ain't got no time for that now

Trouble in transit, got through the roadblock,
we blended with the crowd

We got computer, we're tapping phone lines,
I know that ain't allowed

We dress like students, we dress like housewives,
or in a suit and a tie

I've changed my hairstyle so many times now,
I don't know what I look like!

You make me shiver, I feel so tender,
we make a pretty good team

Don't get exhausted, I'll do some driving,
you ought to get you some sleep

Get you instructions, follow directions,
then you should change your address

Maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day,
whatever you think is best

Burned all my notebooks, what good are
notebooks? They won't help me survive.

My chest is aching, burns like a furnace,
the burning keeps me alive

Try to stay healthy, physical fitness,
don't want to catch no disease

Try to be careful, don't take no chances,
you better watch what you say.

Obama Seeks US Congressional Ratification of UN Global Gun Control Treaty

Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State has announced that the Obama administration is working with the United Nations (UN) to approve, through the US Congress, the Small Arms Treaty (SAT).
Clinton affirmed that the US would facilitate talks with the UN in the Conference on the Arms Trade Treaty, as long as it “operates under the rules of consensus decision-making. Consensus is needed to ensure the widest possible support for the Treaty and to avoid loopholes in the Treaty that can be exploited by those wishing to export arms irresponsibly.”
This global gun control scheme, concocted by the UN, is called the International Arms Control Treaty (IACT). Disguised as a way to combat terrorism, insurgents and international criminals, this document endeavors to secure the world’s citizens cannot defend themselves.

The IACT will empower the UN to literally force the US government to:
• Enact internationally agreed licensing requirements for Americans
• Confiscate and destroy unauthorized firearms of Americans while allowing the US government to keep theirs
• Ban trade, sale and private ownership of semi-automatic guns
• Create and mandate an international registry to organize an encompassing gun confiscation in America
Senator Jerry Moran said in a letter (signed by 44 other senators) to President Obama; warning him not to continue his push for ratification of the SAT. Moran wrote: “Our country’s sovereignty and the Second Amendment rights of American citizens must not be infringed upon by the United Nations. Today, the Senate sends a powerful message to the Obama Administration: an Arms Trade Treaty that does not protect ownership of civilian firearms will fail in the Senate. Our firearm freedoms are not negotiable.”

The US is the world’s largest exporter of firearms; while private sales between citizens, collectors and sportsmen would all be internationally regulated with the approval of IACT. This includes rules over ammunition, and procurement.
The Obama administration, in an attempt to appear coy, agreed to sign only if other states agreed to as well. Yet many Senators, the National Rifle Association (NRA) and pro-gun advocates perceive IACT as the first step in international gun control and will not abide by while Obama gives the UN over-reaching power to destroy our 2nd Amendment and our Constitutional Republic.
A final version of SAT, which is based on IACT will be drafted by 2013.
Chris Cox, the NRA’s top lobbyist, explains: “As we have for the past 15 years, the NRA will fight to stop a United Nations Arms Trade Treaty that infringes on the Constitutional rights of American gun owners.” Cox feels that Senators like Moran “sends a clear message to the international bureaucrats who want to eliminate our fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms. Clearly, a U.N. Arms Trade Treaty that includes civilian arms within its scope is not supported by the American people or their elected U.S. Senators. Senator Moran is a true champion of our freedom. We are grateful for his leadership and his tenacious efforts on this issue, as well as the 44 other senators who agree with the NRA’s refusal to compromise on our constitutional freedoms.”
Last month, in press release , The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has awarded defense contractor ATK with an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement for .40 caliber hollow point ammunition.
According to ATK :
ATK has secured a major Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity deal to supply up to 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition to the Department of Homeland Security . . . The 1 year contract with four option years comes at a time when many Americans believe that DHS, along with certain aspects of the military, will soon turn their sights on the American people during some sort of martial law scenario . . . We are proud to extend our track record as the prime supplier of .40 caliber duty ammunition for DHS, ICE,” said Ron Johnson, the president of ATK’s Security and Sporting group.”
This particular type of bullet is meant to expand upon impact “engineered for 100-percent weight retention, limits collateral damage, and avoids over-penetration.”
This order is not the first for DHS. In 2009, DHS contracted Winchester for delivery of 200 million hollow point bullets.
The economic state of America has caused US citizens to purchase armory at an incredible rate. A national “ gun-run ” last March saw a shortage of guns in stores for the first time.
“I have never seen such a situation in all my years as a gun owner, hunter and cop,” said Edna Aquino , a New York police officer and shooting instructor. “I’m hearing from fellow shooters that they are stockpiling ammunition these days because they are afraid of what they’re seeing in this country.”
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has reported that an estimated 6 million requests for pre-sale guns in 2009 reflects a 26% increase.
In response to Americans arming themselves, President Obama is seeking Congress to approve the UN’s international governance over our 2nd Amendment while claiming that it is only an attempt to create more stringent gun legislation for the American public’s protection.

Does the Australian Government Want to Make Real Living Zombies Out of the Next Generation?

By Catherine J. Frompovich | June 13th, 2012

Medical professionals in Australia want your child drugged and fully vaccinated (vaccines are also drugs)

As if compulsory vaccinations were not sufficient for government officials seeking to try to keep younger generations from contracting various diseases, a new plan has reared its ridiculous head in Australia.  It’s the “Healthy Kids Check,” starting July 1, 2012, that will evaluate children as young as three-year-old toddlers for early signs of mental illness.  What?
According to Australian government officials, if a toddler
sleeps with the light on, has temper tantrums, or is shy, [1]
your little one may be experiencing lifestyle risk factors that probably will mandate their taking psychotropic drugs—that’s in addition to all the vaccines that children are mandated to take in Australia.
Furthermore, pediatricians and family physicians will be required to ask parents questions about three-year-olds’ eating and toilet habits, plus the child’s behavior and mood.  It seems as if a formula of chronic nosiness or intrusion on big brother’s part is setting in for the total control of our lives starting with each new generation.
Here’s the honest-to-goodness scary part, I think:
[Physicians] will most likely end up prescribing antipsychotic medicines to 3-year-old children who are not technically suffering from any formal mental illness, but are simply showing signs of normal behaviour [sic]. [1]
Does the Australian government want to make real living zombies out of the next generation?  How can a three-year-old brain and body deal with all the neurotoxins from vaccines AND psychotropic drug chemicals that will be crossing the blood brain barrier?  From what I know of body chemistry and pharmacology, Australia needs to get ready for a totally incapacitated and non-functional generation of children and adults.  This is so patently ridiculous that it defies logic. But Australia is not unique!

It’s Official: Presidency Now a Dictatorship

Kurt Nimmo

June 15, 2012
On Friday, Obama instructed the government to ignore an influx of illegal aliens streaming over the border. The move was implemented to sway Latino voters into the Obama camp in preparation for the upcoming election against fellow establishment candidate Mitt Romney.

Obama’s latest outrageous violation of the laws of the United States demonstrate that the nation has arrived at its destination: a dictatorship lorded over by an imperial ruler.
Obama’s violations of law and the Constitution make his predecessor look like a piker by way of comparison. Since he was voted into office by deluded citizens who believed he would pay for their rent and food, Obama has enacted by fiat or worked with Congress to pass a number of bills that have increased the power of the executive and the unconstitutional authority of the federal government.
National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)
This monstrous statute allows the government to circumvent the Fifth Amendment. The NDAA gives the government the authority to designate American citizens as terrorists and indefinitely detain them without recourse to courts or due process of law and without specific charge.
“Permit me to state the obvious,” writes Sheldon Richman. “The government shouldn’t be allowed to imprison people indefinitely without charge or trial. It shouldn’t be necessary to say this nearly 800 years after Magna Carta was signed and over 200 years after the Fifth Amendment was ratified.”
Chapter 39 of the Magna Carta states that “[n]o free man shall be taken or imprisoned or disseized or exiled or in any way destroyed, nor will we go upon him nor send upon him, except by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the law of the land.” The concept of due process first appeared in English common law in 1354 and inspired the Fifth Amendment more than 400 years later.
The time honored principle that the state must try citizens in a court of law is now dead – and with surprisingly little resistance from our supposed representatives.
Unconstitutional wars
Not only did Obama continue and amplify Bush’s unconstitutional, illegal and immoral wars against nations that did not present a danger to the United States, he also initiated an overt war of his own in Libya (under NATO cover). He did not go to Congress and seek a declaration as required under Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. Instead, he used the fig leaf of the United Nations to cover his illegal action.
In May, the Secretary of War, Leon Panetta, said Obama will “seek international permission” to launch new wars.” He declared the “commander in chief has the authority to take action that involves the vital interests of this country” without consulting the American people.
In March, Rep. Walter Jones, a North Carolina Republican, introduced H. Concurrent Resolution 107, which calls on the House, the Senate Concurring, to prevent Obama from starting another war without authorization from Congress. It has since languished in committee.

Obamacare
Obama’s health care mandate forcing Americans to buy insurance from large monopolistic corporations represents the height of his arrogance and contempt for the American people and the Constitution.
Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3 of the Constitution is known as the Commerce Clause. It states that “Congress shall have the power… to regulate commerce with foreign nations, among the several states and with the Indian tribes.” It does not permit the government to force you to buy insurance from a government preferred and protected monopoly.
In Federalist No. 45, James Madison wrote that the clause spells out that the powers delegated to the federal government are “few and defined,” while those left to the states “are numerous and indefinite,” although you wouldn’t know that if you listen to Democrats and far too many of their Republican colleagues.
The original intent of the Commerce Clause was to facilitate commerce between the states and prevent tariffs, quotas and taxes. It was not designed to help a lumbering and dictatorial federal government force “mandates” on the people at gunpoint.
