Like a shopaholic who denies the addiction, Obama has consistently been in denial about his reckless spending addiction. Despite President Barack Obama’s denials, though, an analysis by Forbes shows there has not been a greater spender than Obama.

This is probably the saddest song I've ever heard.

Kurt Cobain wrote this about his life. He talks about living under a nearby bridge, which he claimed happened when he got kicked out of the house for dropping out of high school and refusing to get a job. He expresses his feelings and emotions by saying "something in the way" - he thought everything was in the way every time he tried to feel better. The lyrics to this song were spray painted by Cobain on the wall of the bridge that he claimed to have lived under when he left his home. It was later painted over in a clean up of the city. When recording this song, Kurt Cobain whispered his vocals so quietly that producer Butch Vig had to turn his recording levels all the way up.

LeBron James leads Heat past Thunder in Game 3 of NBA Finals

MIAMI – LeBron James wrestled control of the NBA Finals away from Kevin Durant, scoring 29 points to lead the Miami Heat to a thrilling 91-85 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 on Sunday night.

Dwyane Wade totaled 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Heat. Kevin Durant scored 25 points, but was again bothered by foul trouble.
The Heat trailed by 10 points in the third quarter before rallying. They took control with a little less than three minutes remaining in the game. After Wade drove for a basket and a foul, the Thunder came unhinged with consecutive turnovers. James, who also had 14 rebounds, took the second and drove for a short bank shot, picking up Durant's fifth foul in the process. The three-point play pushed Miami's lead to seven and sent the Thunder into a timeout with 3:47 left.
The Heat appear to have learned their lessons from last season's struggles in the Finals, particularly in late-game situations.  
"We carry that pain with us," Chris Bosh said. "We think about it every day, and that really helps us to succeed in this series."
Durant uncharacteristically missed two free throws in the quarter and the Thunder missed nine total for the game. Oklahoma City was the NBA's best foul shooting team in the regular season.
The Heat seemed to have the game in hand after James again pushed Miami's lead to seven, but the Thunder came roaring back. After a pair of free throws by Kendrick Perkins, Thabo Sefolosha stripped Wade near midcourt and raced down court for a lay-in. Westbrook followed with a pull-up jumper to cut OKC's deficit to a single point with 1:30 remaining, setting the stage for a third straight tense finish in the series.

Watergate burglar: Obama 'most corrupt ever'

Barack Obama’s administration is the most corrupt ever to occupy the White House declared Watergate burglar and retiring radio talk star G. Gordon Liddy.



With tomorrow marking the 40th anniversary of the Watergate break in, Liddy was speaking today in an interview on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on New York’s WABC Radio.

Liddy was the chief operative for the White House Plumbers unit that existed during Richard Nixon’s presidency.

Klein asked Liddy: “You lived through and in fact were a part of different presidential administrations. … Looking now at Barack Obama’s previous four years, have you ever seen a White House administration as corrupt as this one?”

“No,” replied Liddy. “It’s just astonishing. They can’t tell the truth to save their souls. They came into office making all sorts of promises about being transparent and all the rest of it. And they just demonstrated that either they don’t know how or they [have deliberately] chosen not to be. But it’s very disappointing to the American electorate how these people failed to live up to their promises.”

The 82-year-old Liddy last week announced his retirement from nearly 20 years in talk radio, effective July 27.

He told Klein he decided to transition from his show because “most people my age have long since retired.”

“I kept going pretty much as long as I could,” he said, adding his family would like to see more of him.

Asked if he has any pearls of wisdom for the younger generation of radio hosts, Liddy responded: “First of all, you’ve got to tell the truth on the air and build a reputation of integrity that way. And while you are telling the truth, you have got to entertain them. You have to be knowledgeable and you have to be truthful and you have to be entertaining. If you do that you will get listeners to listen to you.”

A Revolver Map Question -Why No City Name?

I don't know much about the Revolver map, but I know that about 99% of the time it shows a city name.
It is really fun to look and see the names of different cities with people looking at this blog.

Obviously not my map, way too many hits.

There is one place that looks at it quite often, that has no name, just a U.S. flag.
It's hard to tell by location, looks like maybe around St Louis, MO but I'm not sure.
So finally I get to the point, why no city name?
Anybody know?
Anybody want to make a guess?

OKLAHOMA CITY – With all of the infighting, hand-wringing and gnashing of teeth among the Ron Paul wing of the Republican Party (anti-war conservatives, libertarians, etc.) following U.S. Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-Ky.) endorsement of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for president.

Sure, Ron Paul admitted that he does not have enough delegates to win the nomination in Tampa, but that having 500 delegates there “puts us in a tremendous position to grow our movement and shape the future of the GOP!”

Brian Doherty of Reason.com (author of Ron Paul’s Revolution: The Man and the Movement He Inspired) wrote yesterday that “Rand Paul is of course playing a delicate game of trying to build on his father’s libertarian base out to the more standard red-state right-wing-talk-radio mainstream edge of the Republican Party.”

Continues Doherty: “(I)t remains to be seen how large a percentage of the over 2 million people who voted for Paul this primary season are the kind of hardcore who will be alienated permanently from Rand by this endorsement.”

There are a lot of great things about Rand Paul. He adheres to the Constitution. We see he is joining Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden’s push to allow “farmers to grow industrial hemp” (certainly a step in the right direction and I know our Founding Fathers would nod in approval). He takes some pretty bold positions in the Senate from time to time. That is needed in Washington.

But Rand Paul would not endorse his own father? When Ron Paul is still running his campaign? It doesn’t make any sense. As you may recall, Red Dirt Report did get to ask Congressman Paul one question during his visit to Oklahoma City in February. We asked if he had “struck a deal” with the Romney campaign in an effort to form an alliance. Paul immediately bristled at our question and responded: “No. Never.” We believed him but were struck by his defensive reaction. Perhaps at that point something really was in the works.

But maybe it was the question itself. Perhaps, thinking about his son’s political future, that we should have asked, “Is your son trying to find a place in mainstream Republicanism in order to appeal to a broader swath of the American voting public?” Of course we didn’t think of that one at the time.
