The Prosecution of George W. Bush
Famed Charles Manson prosecutor and three time #1 New York Times bestselling author Vincent Bugliosi has written the most powerful, explosive, and thought-provoking book of his storied career.
In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Bugliosi presents a tight, meticulously researched legal case that puts George W. Bush on trial in an American courtroom for the murder of nearly 4,000 American soldiers fighting the war in Iraq. Bugliosi sets forth the legal architecture and incontrovertible evidence that President Bush took this nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses—a war that has not only caused the deaths of American soldiers but also over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children; cost the United States over one trillion dollars thus far with no end in sight; and alienated many American allies in the Western world.
As a prosecutor who is dedicated to seeking justice, Bugliosi, in his inimitable style, delivers a non-partisan argument, free from party lines and instead based upon hard facts and pure objectivity.
A searing indictment of the President and his administration, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder also outlines a legally credible pathway to holding our highest government officials accountable for their actions, thereby creating a framework for future occupants of the oval office.
Vincent Bugliosi calls for the United States of America to return to the great nation it once was and can be again. He believes the first step to achieving this goal is to bring those responsible for the war in Iraq to justice.

Charles Manson conned some hippies into killing four people.
George Bush conned a nation into killing 1,007,168 people.
I started to write a post comparing Bush to Manson, then wondered if anyone else had thought of it, they had. Bush Manson

The End of the World
Sorry I haven't been blogging much lately. I've been moving. Recent events have convinced me that the world as we know it will soon be just a fond memory. I'm now blogging from my secret underground bunker. I quit my job because the money that they use to pay me with will soon be worthless.

Silly Terrorist help U.S. efforts in Pakistan
After several weeks of international bad press because of drone planes being piloted by 19 year olds with joy-sticks in California, blowing up families in Pakistan willy-nilly, after all that, the “terrorists” in Pakistan decide to blow up a second rate hotel there, killing civilians, and making them the bad guys once again? How’s that for the worst timing ever, huh? Well, the worst timing for them and the best possible timing for those troubled U.S. Military PR guys and all the politicians who had been saying just a month ago we need to step up military action in Pakistan.
Let’s face it, the Global War on Terror™ is the biggest thing since sliced bread for making serious cash, removing those troubling restrictions, and undermining the constitution at every turn.
This morning the spin is that the “terrorist” organizations did this too send a message that they want the government of Pakistan to quit cooperating with the U.S.War on Terror™. Nevermind that just a few days ago, President Zardari came out saying that Pakistan’s sovereignty was more important than America’s War on Terror™.
That’s right. Just one week ago, Pakistan was threatening to pull out of Bush’s War on Terror and today they have more reason than ever to stay put.
I wonder how long it takes to build a truck bomb.
The end result of this attack is to give the U.S. Army and the American politicians all the reason in the world that they would need to continue attacking Pakistan’s population, and taking the international pressure off the Americans to stop bombing their country.
This is what we are supposed to believe?
We are supposed to believe that these “terrorists”, when they finally have the sympathy of the world and the eyes of the world are watching Pakistan’s plight very closely, not to mention the fact that Pakistan’s president just announced his intentions to pull out of the Global War on Terror™, they all of a sudden decide to blow up a hotel, for no apparent reason, giving Pakistan every reason to remain an alley in the war? Are you kidding?
If you aren’t familiar with the CIA’s history of false-flag operations in the rest of the world, now might be a good time to Google it.
This has the markings of that type of operation written all over it.
You have a newly elected regime that isn’t as inclined to hand over control of their country to the U.S. when all of a sudden, out of now-where, the “leftist” terrorist start bombing the people of the country in order to create chaos and fear in the population. This is either blamed on the President or the regime that U.S. companies don’t like, or they start to foster the idea that the new anti-American leadership can’t provide the protection the people need. And thus, the CIA’s actions change the course of that country by covert, terrorist means.
It’s on record; it’s been done many times by the CIA. Not just in the Middle East, but also, Central America, South American, Italy, Cuba, and many others.
So, the recent attack in Pakistan takes place just in time to salvage BushCo’s all important Global War on Terror™. I mean, how do you think it would look if the U.S.’s main alley were to just pack up and take off? Some terrorist cell leader somewhere is getting called on the carpet for this one. Or, maybe not. You decide.

Palin vetoed $275,000
Palin cut funding for Alaska Special Olympics
Campaigning in Colorado today, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) promised renewed attention to kids with special needs. She declared, “Ever since I took the chief executive’s job up North
I pushed for more funding for students with special needs,” and cited her own family’s experience with the issue.
It’s a stretch to say she “pushed” for any policy improvements.
Though Palin did sign a law increasing special education funding in Alaska,
“she had no role whatsoever”
in its development, according to the bill’s author, Rep. Mike Hawker (R). Moreover, as governor,
Palin vetoed $275,000 in Special Olympics Alaska funds (Page 100, SB 221 with vetoes), slashing the organization’s operating budget in half.

Palin says Russia was Unprovoked
President Medvedev revealed in a frank and close to public discussion with the members of the Valdai Discussion club how news of war in South Ossetia came to him.
‘I’ll never forget that night’
“I was on vacation. They say, Russia was preparing for war – that’s a lie! The Defence Minister called me at 1 a.m. and said, the Georgians have told the Ossetians that they were starting a war. And while all those troops were moving towards South Ossetia, I took no decision and hoped those dimwits would have enough brains to stop. They didn’t! We held ourselves until they started firing rockets, shelling residential blocks, and shooting at peacekeepers. Even then we didn’t respond.”
“I’ll never forget that night. It was very hard to order the use of force, while knowing the consequences. We did everything right. And I’m proud of it. Our response was symmetrical and proportional.”
“For me the events in August put an end to any illusion that the world is just. For me personally it was the loss of my last illusions. For Russia, August 8 is like 9/11 for America.”
"We didn’t want it, didn’t want it at all! For 17 years we’ve being mending what had broken apart a long time ago. And they didn’t thank us for that – rather they started shooting at us.”
George Bush would do the same
“When I talked to Bush on the phone last time I told him: you’d have done the same in a situation like this, just in a more harsh way. He didn’t argue.”
So if a country started firing rockets and shelling residential blocks in America she would say "Oh well, at least they aren't provoking us?!!!?
First, Georgia is not a member of NATO and is not likely to become so, mostly because the Europeans are more sane than the American neoconservatives, primarily because they live next door to Russia. Second, Russia did not invade Georgia, Russia defended South Ossetia from an attack launched by Georgia. In its defensive action, Russia took out Georgia’s military capacity and that necessitated going into Georgia proper. Third, Georgia is not a democracy as should be apparent when one looks at Saakashvili’s reaction to opposition protesters last year — he responded with tear gas, water cannons, rubber bullets, and a “state of emergency,” that is to say martial law.

US to invade Iran any day now?
Russia Today
Friday, Sept 12, 2008
A few weeks ago the Russian newspaper Izvestia, a well-known and authoritive daily published nationwide and abroad, came forward with something that would have been looked upon as a conspiracy theory if published by a tabloid.
The paper suggested that by attacking South Ossetia, the Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili had badly damaged a planned U.S. military operation against Iran. In the newspaper’s opinion Georgia was supposed to play the role of another “unsinkable aircraft carrier” for the U.S., i.e. an operational and tactical base for U.S. aircraft that would be making bombing raids into Iran. Something akin to what Thailand was in the Vietnam war.
Thailand certainly benefited from the arrangement, and Georgia would have too, insists the paper, if its President hadn’t put his ambitions above the US national interest and ended up beaten, disarmed, chewing on his neckties and totally incapable of providing whatever the U.S. needs from him.
(Article continues below)
That’s why, according to Izvestia in yet another article on the matter, the U.S. response to the Russian retaliation was harsh in words but very mild in action. The latest on the issue suggests that Mikhail Saakashvili may be replaced any day now by direct order from Washington.
Having read the story in Izvestia I decided to try to figure out the extent of improbability and impossibility of the assumptions. As I was doing that, I remembered that early in August CNN had started showing U.S. generals who cried for more troops and hardware for Afghanistan which, in their opinion, was rapidly becoming a more intensive conflict than Iraq.
Shortly after that, a phone call came from a college friend who had just come back from Kandahar in Afghanistan, where he had seen American battle tanks being unloaded from a Ukrainian-registered Antonov-124 “Ruslan”, the heaviest and largest cargo airplane in the world. The friend asked if I had any idea what tanks would be good for in Afghanistan, and I said I didn’t. It’s an established fact from the Soviet war in Afghanistan that tanks are no good for most of the country’s mountainous territory. They are good for flatlands, and the main body of flat land in the region is right across the border in Iran.
Later in August there was another bit of unofficial information from a Russian military source: more than a thousand American tanks and armored vehicles had been shipped to Eastern Afghanistan by Ukrainian “Ruslans” flying in three to five shipments a day, and more flights were expected.
Somehow all this, together with the series of articles in Izvestia, the information that all U.S. troops in Afghanistan are going to be reassigned and regrouped under unified command, the arrival of NATO naval ships in the Black Sea, the appointment of a man used to command troops in a combat environment as the new commander of the US Central Command and other bits and pieces. To my total astonishment, when they all fell together the Izvestia story started looking slightly more credible than before.
Today the U.S. media reported that there had been a leak from the Pentagon about a secret Presidential order in which President Bush authorized his military (most of which is currently on Afghan soil) to conduct operations in Pakistan without the necessity for informing the Pakistani government. The U.S. military in Afghanistan - or shall we say in the whole region neighboring Iran - is getting a freer hand by the day. And it is getting more and more hardware to play with.
Of course it’s quite clear now that Georgia has lost its immediate potential as a nearby airfield, but after all, the aircraft carriers in the Gulf are not so far away.
Believe me I’m not saying that the U.S. is going to start an all-out war against Iran tomorrow. But aren’t there indications that it may happen the day after tomorrow, a month from now, or on any date before the official handover of Presidency in the U.S.? Or, as some suggest, before the election?
I’m just asking the questions. But there are some people, like those working for Izvestia, for instance, who answer them with a “yes”.

Palin's the real sexist
Republicans accusing Obama of sexism because of his lipstick on a pig comment don't know what they are talking about.
If he would have said "Don't vote for McCain because if his old ass dies in office, you will be stuck with a female president." that would be sexist.
Any person that votes for or against a candidate based on the sex of that candidate or the running mate is a sexist. Yes I'm saying anyone that votes for McCain because his running mate is a female is sexist. Just as I would be a sexist if I were to say "Women would probably vote for a woman candidate just because that person is a woman." or "Women shouldn't have the right to choose weather or not to terminate their pregnancy." or "Women don't need to be able to get a safe and legal abortion if that is what they choose."

Pot May Halt MRSA
Yet Another Study Reports That Pot May Halt MRSA
Tue, 09 Sep 2008 21:42:58 By: Paul Armentano, NORML Deputy Director
Just days after the New York Times, Scientific American, and other MSM outlets finally got wind that cannabis’ germ-fighting properties can halt the spread of MRSA and other multi-drug resistant pathogens, along comes a second just-released study identifying several new non-cannabinoid compounds in the plant which possess anti-bacterial properties.
Investigators at the University of Mississippi report the discovery of eleven new non-cannabinoid constituents in cannabis, several of which possess “anti-microbial” (think MRSA), “anti-malarial,” and “anti-leishmanial” (a common skin parasite) activity. Scientists also reported that several of the compounds also possessed anti-inflammatory properties and acted as potent anti-oxidants.
(The US government, Depart of Health and Human Services actually holds a patent on the use of certain cannabinoids as anti-oxidants and neuroprotectants, which you can read here.)
In other words, when we speak about the healing powers of the cannabis plant, we really mean the entire cannabis plant. We’re not talking about isolating particular cannabinoids, and we’re most certainly not suggesting patients be forced to consume an oral synthetic version of a single compound a la Marinol.
Therapeutic cannabis means just that — the therapeutic prowess of the whole plant. We should not advocate for, or accept, anything less.

Six new non-cannabinoid constituents were isolated from a high potency Cannabis sativa L. variety, namely 5-acetoxy-6-geranyl-3-n-pentyl-1,4-benzoquinone (1), 4,5-dihydroxy-2,3,6-trimethoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene (2), 4-hydroxy-2,3,6,7-tetramethoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene (3), 4,7-dimethoxy-1,2,5-trihydroxyphenanthrene (4), cannflavin C (5) and beta-sitosteryl-3-O-beta-d-glucopyranoside-2'-O-palmitate (6). In addition, five known compounds, alpha-cannabispiranol (7), chrysoeriol (8), 6-prenylapigenin (9), cannflavin A (10) and beta-acetyl cannabispiranol (11) were identified, with 8 and 9 being reported for the first time from cannabis. Some isolates displayed weak to strong antimicrobial, antileishmanial, antimalarial and anti-oxidant activities. Compounds 2-4 were inactive as analgesics.

Alien Attack Imminent?
According to the new New York Times/CBS News poll, only 16% of Americans think the government is telling the truth about 9/11 and the intelligence prior to the attacks:
"Do you think members of the Bush Administration are telling the truth, are mostly telling the truth but hiding something, or are they mostly lying?
Telling the truth 16%
Hiding something 53%
Mostly lying 28%
Not sure 3%"
The 84% figure mirrors other recent polls on the same issue. A Canadian Poll put the figure at 85%. A CNN poll had the figure at 89%. Over 80% supported the stance of Charlie Sheen when he went public with his opinions on 9/11 as an inside job.
A recent CNN poll found that the percentage of Americans who blame the Bush administration for the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington rose from almost a third to almost half over the past four years. This latest poll shows that that figure has again risen exponentially and now stands at well over three quarters of the population.

After the attacks on 9-11 Bush was able to start two wars virtually unopposed.
It seems safe to say that the main goal of 9-11 was to start two wars.
According to history using fake attacks or allowing attacks that could have been stopped is nothing new.
(Here's where you'll have to hold on or I'll lose you.)
What if your goal is a one world government? What kind of attack would make a new world order easier to accomplish? An attack by "aliens"! Not real aliens of course, area 51 type alien craft. Technology that has been kept from the public could be used to "Shock and Awe" the people of the world to believe that we were under attack by aliens. The people would not only not resist efforts to make a one world government, they would demand it.

As far as I know
As far as I know the people of Iran are a lot like us. They have homes, they have jobs and their children go to school. I think that they are just as sane as we are. Not many of us want our country to be destroyed. Not many of us want to have a nuclear war, especially with a country that has more nukes than we do. So why on Earth do so many people think that if Iran gets nuclear weapons, they will attack the U.S. with them? It would obviously be suicide. Personally, I think that we should stop all sanctions against them, trade with them and otherwise leave them alone.

Another Odd Thought from the mind of Tex
Sometimes I think about odd things. If people were naturally high, all the time, and you could take a drug that made you not high. Would it be illegal? What would the propaganda against it be?
It destroys your appreciation for music.
It tends to make you more angry and violent.
It makes food less enjoyable.
It makes war more likely.
It makes almost everything less enjoyable.
It increases your stress level.
It makes you less tolerant of others.
I don't think it would be illegal though because there probably wouldn't be any victimless crimes.

Unprecedented Ice Storms In Kenya
Evidence that the planet is tip-toeing towards the onset of a new mini ice age continues to present itself following unprecedented ice storms in Kenya as well as Sydney experiencing its coldest August for 60 years. But don’t worry because according to the World Wildlife Fund, global cooling can just as easily be blamed on CO2 emissions as can global warming.
The cold snap arrives on the back of the Sun reaching a milestone not observed in nearly 100 years - the entire month of August passed without a single sunspot being noted.
Lack of solar activity in 2008 has coincided with evidence of a cooling trend across the world.
Earlier this year, China experienced its coldest winter in 100 years while northeast America was hit by record snow levels and Britain suffered its coldest April in decades as late-blooming daffodils were pounded with hail and snow on an almost daily basis. The British summer also left many yearning for global warming, with temperatures in June and July rarely struggling to get over 16 degrees and on one occasion even dropping as low as 9 degrees in the middle of the afternoon.
RNC Protesters Charged as Terrorists Under Minnesota Patriot Act
Los Angeles Times
September 3, 2008
Prosecutors in Ramsey County, Minn., have formally charged eight alleged leaders of the RNC Welcoming Committee — one of the groups organizing protests at the GOP convention in St. Paul — with terrorism-related charges, The Times’ P.J. Huffstutter reports.
Monica Bicking, Eryn Trimmer, Luce Guillen Givins, Erik Oseland, Nathanael Secor, Robert Czernik, Garrett Fitzgerald and Max Spector, face up to 7 1/2 years in prison under the terrorism enhancement charge, which allows for a 50% increase in the maximum penalty they could face.
It appears to be the first time criminal charges have been filed under the 2002 Minnesota version of the federal Patriot Act.
The RNC Welcoming Committee is a self-described anarchist group that has worked for months planning disruptions at the convention. Police blamed the group for sparking violence during Monday’s antiwar protest in St. Paul. Although most of the estimated 10,000 people at the march were peaceful, police say a splinter group of about 200 people harassed delegates, smashed windows and started at least one fire.

Pablo's House
“We live in a dangerous world… and we need a president who understands the lessons of Sept. 11, 2001: that to protect America, we must stay on the offense, stop attacks before they happen and not wait to be hit again.”
Bush went on to explain how he “stood in the ruins of buildings knocked down by killers and promised the survivors I would never let them down. I know the hard choices that fall solely to a president.”
He then stated that McCain has “the judgment, the experience and the policies” to continue on the same course.
Meanwhile McCain wandered away from his handlers and was later found in a cardboard box known locally as "Pablo's house".
