An F-18 Navy fighter jet crashed into an apartment complex in Virginia Beach Friday afternoon.

The F-18 was part of the Navy's Strike Fighter Squadron 106, WAVY.com reports.

Both pilots ejected before the jet slammed into Mayfair Mews Apartments, according to the Virginian Pilot. The two pilots were being treated for injuries, according to the Associated Press.
