Bob - That reminds me, one time I was working at Tinker AFB for a contractor. I was in the huge computer room. I overheard a lady watching a computer monitor say (into a mic or phone) "I have a missile launch at (some location)"
I was like "Oh shit!" "What's going on?"...to myself.
Then I heard someone else say it, like it was no big deal.
I assume these were simulated and then they would have a simulated response, I don't know for sure.
But there for a second I was sweating it, I new I was at ground zero for Oklahoma.
We have stuff that can leave a contrail and break the sound barrier just like that thing in the video.
ReplyDeleteAt least we used to, back in my missile tracking days.
