Globalists Want Permanent Occupation of Iraq

Despite the fact that U.S. troops are scheduled to leave Iraq later this year, chatter arising out of the recent Bilderberg conference in St. Moritz strongly suggests that the occupation will be prolonged indefinitely, even as US military forces prepare for new interventions in Libya and Syria.

Around 46,000 US troops remain in Iraq, with the current timetable mandating that all be withdrawn by December 31, 2011. However, this date has continually been put back ever since George W. Bush infamously announced “mission accomplished” on May 1, 2003.

According to Bilderberg globalists who discussed Iraq at last week’s elitist confab, the US government is looking to exercise some form of “squatter’s rights” in order to remain in the country, despite the fact that Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki recently told Adm. Mike Mullen, the chairman of the U.S. joint chiefs of staff, that US troops should leave.

From October 2011 onwards, authority for the occupation is to be transferred from the military to the State Department. According to information leaked by moles from inside the Bilderberg Group, the US government, “has no intentions of ever leaving Iraq, even if ownership changes hands.”

Most Bilderberg members see a US exit from Iraq as an implausible scenario, suggesting that a media spectacle may be generated around troops pulling out, but that a significant residual force will be left firmly in place. One European delegate commented that “It is anyone’s guess,” when US troops will finally be withdrawn, highlighting the reality that it won’t be occurring any time soon.

Numerous military bases and thousands of private security guards and mercenaries will remain in Iraq whether US troops are pulled out or not.

“When you think of Iraq, think big,” one US Bilderberger remarked during the discussion, suggesting that the country will merely be used as a launch pad for a wider regional war that will “include every nation in the Middle East except for Israel.”


As we have documented in recent days, in line with Jim Tucker’s sources who told him that the attack on Libya will be intensified, US ground troops are being readied to invade in October, while US warships are also being moved to the Mediterranean coast of Syria in preparation for an intervention.

Quite how the Obama administration plans to pay for this vast expansion of the empire is a mystery given the fact that the United States is on the brink of losing its triple A credit status because of its inability to service its own gigantic debt.

Barack Obama swept to power on the promise that he would “immediately” withdraw troopsfrom Iraq.

In reality, even before the August 2010 “withdrawal” of U.S. troops, the New York Times reported that, “Mr. Obama plans to leave behind a “residual force” of tens of thousands of troops to continue training Iraqi security forces, hunt down foreign terrorist cells and guard American institutions.”

When the supposed August 2010 “withdrawal” was announced, a senior military officer spelled it out more plainly to the Los Angeles TImes, “‘When President Obama said we were going to get out within 16 months, some people heard, ‘get out,’ and everyone’s gone. But that is not going to happen,’ the officer said.”

The occupation of Iraq has long been a sore point that has caused divisions between European and American Bilderberg members for years. However, As Jim Tucker reported in 2002, it was Bilderberg that made the decision to delay the attack on Iraq until 2003 when the vast majority of military analysts were sure that the bombardment would begin in the late summer or fall of 2002.
