Tea Party 48% Obama 44%

On major issues, 48% of voters say that the average Tea Party member is closer to their views than President Barack Obama. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 44% hold the opposite view and believe the president’s views are closer to their own.

Not surprisingly, Republicans overwhelmingly feel closer to the Tea Party and most Democrats say that their views are more like Obama’s. Among voters not affiliated with either major political party, 50% say they’re closer to the Tea Party while 38% side with the President. rasmussenreports

  2. Not so fast YG, a lot of those folks voted for O to get rid of Bush and his fellow GOPregressives...and are now disappointed!
Two party: Vote for the Vatican, or the American Bishops Council...either way, you freaking lose.
    Sucks!

  3. YDG - I remember the good ol days when we both liked Obama. I guess he is winding down in Iraq but he certainly isn't ending any other wars, only expanding them. I thought he would end the Patriot act but he renewed it and added to it, I think.
The health care law, is going to be horrible once it all kicks in, it was written by the biggest insurance companies. He is a terrible president, for the most part having the same policies as Bush. Please understand that I don't like his policies, I don't care what color his skin is, and that's the way a lot of people feel.

Ted - You got that right. I've said it before but the republicans and Democrats are like a two headed snake.
    Let's start the Mongoose Party!
