Pit maverick Republican Congressman Ron Paul against President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election match-up, and the race is – virtually dead even.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of likely voters finds Obama with 42% support and Paul with 41% of the vote. Eleven percent (11%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.rasmussenreports
that is very interesting .considering when he ran against him he got like 12 votes..ha..i have said it before but i like ron paul..if he was a democrat i'd vote for him in a heart beat..
ReplyDeletei say let colin powell and wesley clark be co-presidents.
ReplyDeleteDemocrat, Republican, Libertarian, Tea or Free Pussy Ticket, I'll vote for Ron Paul any day of the week! He'll never get the "Globalist-Owned Party" nomination, but a fella can dream...
ReplyDeleteYou hide & watch tex: The Donks got this one right. The GOPhers'll nominate that stupid cunt Palin, throw the election & we'll be stuck with four more years of The Patsy. They might pick up enough Congress seats to cause gridlock, but if most the newbies are neo-conartists, it won't matter: They'll vote in more fascism like "McCompromise" always did.
YDG - If the Dems were smart they would try to get a bunch of votes by moving closer to a Libertarian philosophy. Smaller government instead of larger, individual freedoms guaranteed by the constitution, tax cuts instead of more government spending, you know, stuff like that. To me they seem to be going in the complete opposite direction.
ReplyDeleteBilly - I need to study up on Colin Powell but I do like Wesley Clark.
Ted - I'd vote for Ron Paul, same as you. I hope you are wrong about the election but it could sure happen that way.
