Companies like UPS charge for shipping based on the weight of the package. If I ship a bunch of already filled helium balloons in a container so light that the package floats, shouldn't they have to pay me?
They would find a way to screw you over somehow. But I do believe it would be quite interesting if you presented this proposal to them at a UPS store and see what kind of reaction you get. I also like your Franklin quote. Benjamin is on my mind because I am watching the John Adams mini-series on HBO.
Billy, me too something about "Hold the scales upside down!" Try not to think about it YDG. Joy, I know you're right but it would be interesting. Tina, Yeah and I bet a lot of UPS guys would just set it on the porch and it would float away. Mr. Shife, yep you know they would. Thanks, I guess old Ben was a pretty cool guy.
i think there's a polish joke in there somewhere.
ReplyDeletehaving to figure that out makes my head hurt...ouch
ReplyDeleteThey'd probably hit you with a minimum charge of some sort, but give it a try and let us know what happens.
ReplyDeleteha good question, i bet they would charge more for tracking ;) hehe
