A Shipping Question

Companies like UPS charge for shipping based on the weight of the package. If I ship a bunch of already filled helium balloons in a container so light that the package floats, shouldn't they have to pay me?

  3. They'd probably hit you with a minimum charge of some sort, but give it a try and let us know what happens.

  5. They would find a way to screw you over somehow. But I do believe it would be quite interesting if you presented this proposal to them at a UPS store and see what kind of reaction you get. I also like your Franklin quote. Benjamin is on my mind because I am watching the John Adams mini-series on HBO.

Joy, I know you're right but it would be interesting.
Tina, Yeah and I bet a lot of UPS guys would just set it on the porch and it would float away.
