Escalating tensions with North Korea have put the United States in “deep
doo doo,” former Vice President Dick Cheney told Republican lawmakers
Tuesday.
Cheney met for about 10 minutes with GOP leadership,
CNN reports.
Rep. Steve Southerland of Florida, who was in the meeting, told CNN
that Cheney didn’t give an opinion on what course of action the United
States should be taking, nor did he offer a critique of how he thought
the Obama administration was handling the crisis.
But he did advise them not to “eliminate any possibility.”
