VW and Ford makes Cars that get 75 MPG - U.S. government won't allow the sales of them in U.S.

For a long time I have known that car manufacturers could make more efficient vehicles but do not due to the oil companies. I did not realize it was actually the U.S. government that has stopped the better engines from being sold in the U.S. Even this administration who talked big about better mileage during the 2008 campaign has stopped these engines from being sold here.

The only way to get these engines in cars here is by people becoming aware of the fact there are cars that are being made that get 78 MPG. We need to call and demand the access to them. What is absolutely disgusting is that these cars are made in the factories in the U.S. and are shipped overseas.

  1. Heff - I'd like to see what the world would be like if it weren't for new technologies being suppressed.
For one thing, instead of sex dolls there would be sex robots, sexbots, like Cherry 2000.

That would lower the divorce rate because it would LOWER the marriage rate.
