NEW YORK (WABC) -- They were the first ones on the scene when the World Trade Center towers fell, but the first responders are not invited to this year's September 11th Memorial ceremony.

Mayor Bloomberg's office has confirmed the first responders won't be invited to the 10th anniversary ceremony at Ground Zero.

  1. who in the hell are first responders?

why not just call them cops and firemen. i hate all these new terms that are dreamed up by spin doctors.

  2. Billy - I don't know why they started using that term. I noticed they changed assault weapon from full auto to semi-auto over the years.
I don't think they want to face all the 9/11 truth - first responders. Plus I think they are denying them cancer coverage (high rates of cancer in first responders) and they don't want the image of cancer victims reminding the public what a horrible gov we have. It totally sucks. But fear not, the tax payers will foot the bill for the whole farce.
