(DAILY MAIL) A shocking video has been released allegedly showing police officers tasering and beating a homeless man to death who they claim was resisting arrest.

Though the video is not clear, eye witnesses say the homeless man – Kelly Thomas, 37 – was unable to put up any resistance and was lying on the ground on his front when the attack took place on July 5.

His screams and cries for his father can be heard amid the tasering noises.

The video was shot by a student in Fullerton, California. Kelly Thomas was beaten so badly he died in hospital several days later.

  1. i hope the private security forces won't be as mean when they take over but something tells me that they'll be even meaner.

have i ever mentioned that i don't like cops.

  2. Billy - What gets me is, if you witnessed the cops beating someone to death and you started shooting the cops in effort to save that mans life then YOU would be the criminal!

There should be a law that you can shoot cops if you see them brutalizing someone.

I assume you would be on-board with that idea, taking into consideration your feelings toward cops.

  3. I guess my last comment might seem a little crazy, but think about the opposite statement.

"Cops should be allowed to beat us to death, even if we are offering no resistance." Now that's CRAZY!

  4. UPDATE: Six officers involved in the incident have been placed on paid administrative leave.
    (That'll teach um!)

  5. cops always get suspended with pay until things blow over then they're right back at brutalizing the citizens.
