An Inconvenient Truth about Obamacare

Just a heads up to the folks looking forward to Obamacare becoming law. The ban on preexisting conditions won't kick in for four years and even after it does, the insurance companies can still deny you, all they have to do is pay a $5000 fine.

So what will they do when faced with a decision of insuring anyone with anything that will cost more than $5000 to treat?

Pay the fine.

You mean the “ban on pre-existing conditions” is just a big lie?

You mean the insurance companies can deny treatments, deny surgeries, deny tests, and even terminate your entire policy if you get too expensive?

Yes!

Hard to believe, getting the government involved isn't going to make everything all better, wow that's got to be a first.

  1. Without any, but life, research, I say that single payer - Medicare for all - is the only solution that would be equitable for all. But what do I know? I'm just a teacher who has sworn allegiance to my country.
