Facts: While attempting to flee the scene with $23 from cash register, Johnson fought 4 LAPD officers, holding them off until shot with a tranquilizer gun. Additional mace, stun gun, and riot net were required to place her in patrol vehicle after arrest.
Convicted: Armed robbery, South Central Los Angeles.
Facts: Daylight robbery of armored car. Rammed back door with body until hinge broke. (Sentence reduced at request of armored car manufacturer.)
Convicted: Robbery, aggravated assault, Norco, CA.
Facts: Johnson claimed she was trying to "beat some sense" into cashier who hesitated when asked to empty the register.
