Now I have to Give up my Monster - Aspartame - Sucralose

When I started gathering this information, I was going to tell the people that didn't know, how bad aspartame is for your body. Without pretending that I know exactly how it works somehow it is just like drinking small amounts of methanol (the alcohol that can make you blind)headaches, dizziness and much much more. On top of that, it then turns into formaldehyde in your brain. Darn those pesky tumors.
All that is true, but since I don't use aspartame, I thought I would come out of this unscathed, not so.

I love Monster low carb and absolute zero. I learned too much, sucralose is in it and apparently, it is very bad for you too. Whah-ha-ha! I have to give up my Monster!

Ibuprofen Linked to Stroke and Heart Attack

This information is nothing new, just a reminder that you are rolling the heart attack/stroke dice every time you take Ibuprofen or give it to someone.

Participants, whose average age was 39, who used ibuprofen had a 29% greater risk of fatal or nonfatal stroke, compared to those who took no NSAID. usatoday.com

But it also linked ibuprofen -- brand names include Advil and Motrin -- to a 24% higher risk of heart attack compared with people who had not taken any anti-inflammatory in the last three years. webmd.com

Most Americans think Obama does not deserve re-election, according to new poll

By Stephen C. Webster

rawstory.com

President Barack Obama was dealt the worst poll numbers of his career Wednesday as a new survey by Quinnipac University found that most Americans think he does not deserve to be re-elected in 2012.

The numbers come amid several other findings, by Quinnipiac and others, that seem to indicate the president had hit the skids with Americans.

Also revealed in the Quinnipiac poll: Obama's approval rating is also at its lowest point ever, at 42 percent, while his disapproval rating rose from earlier in the month to a new high of 48 percent.

A similar Quinnipiac poll published March 3 found President Obama with 46 percent approval and 46 percent disapproval.

In that earlier poll, voters also split on whether Obama deserves reelection, with 47 percent saying yes and 45 percent saying no.

The latest poll reflects the president's sliding fortunes in other studies, with a full 50 percent now saying that he does not deserve to stay in office beyond 2012.

Researchers also found that only 13 percent of Democrats disapprove of the president's actions.

They're joined by 81 percent of Republicans, Quinnipiac noted, who fiercely oppose Obama -- even in spite of the fact that much of his policies, both foreign and domestic, are the same as or similar to his Republican predecessor's.

That may have more to do with the president's demeanor and how he is depicted by the media, than any actual policy decisions.

The Gallup polling firm also said Wednesday that a key metric, whether President Obama is perceived as a "strong leader," was also slumping, even in the face of fresh military action against Libya.

At 52 percent, Gallup noted, Obama was facing the smallest number of Americans yet who said that title was an appropriate description of the president. That number has fallen 21 percent since Obama took office.

U.S. to Help Supply 1000 Jihadists with Weapons?

Former Libyan Al Qaeda Leader Says There Are 1000 jihadists Amongst Rebels

Steve Watson
Infowars.com
March 30, 2011

A former leader of an al Qaeda linked group in Libya claims that there are around 1000 fundamentalist Islamic fighters in the country that have joined the uprising against Col. Moammar Gaddafi’s forces, a number that jives with intelligence reports and independent estimates. Yet still the allied NATO forces are considering arming the rebels.

Former jihadist Noman Benotman, who renounced his al Qaeda affiliation in 2000, said in an interview that he estimates 1,000 jihadists are in Libya, reports the Washington Times.

Referring to the fighters as “freelance jihadists”, Benotman said that the men were part of a North African terror cell known as Al Qaeda in the Islamic Mahgreb (AQIM).

Benotman told the Times that the fighters had attempted but so far failed to co-opt the Gaddafi government.

He also noted that the fighters have not labeled themselves as leaders of the uprising, yet have rather infiltrated the Libyan opposition so as not to appear to be “undermining” the Libyan people.

Benotman acknowledged that the jihadists were “afraid” to be seen imposing their wish to establish an Islamic republic in Libya, noting that the interim council leading Libya’s opposition is seeking democratic elections.

Yesterday in testimony on Capitol Hill, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander, Admiral James Stavridis, acknowledged the presence of such fundamentalists amongst Libyan rebel groups

Iranian Video Says Mahdi is 'Near'

I was struck by how very similar most all religions are and how the differences are played up and the similarities are played down.

I noticed something else in this video, it says
"The worst kind of people will become leaders." Prophet Mohammad.
It then shows a picture of Bush and Obama. I'm thinking man, he sure got that right!

Raw Story exclusive: Willie Nelson’s prosecutor wants to see marijuana decriminalized

By Stephen C. Webster
Monday, March 28th, 2011 -- 9:47 am
rawstory.com

The Texas county attorney who's letting musician Willie Nelson plea his marijuana charge down to a fee and a song told Raw Story in an exclusive interview that he wishes authorities could just drop the criminal penalties for pot altogether and make getting busted more like getting a parking ticket.

"That makes sense to me," Hudspeth County Attorney C.R. "Kit" Bramblett said, throwing his support to a bill in the Texas legislature that would eliminate possible jail time for marijuana possession if the amount is less than four ounces.

In a lengthy telephone conversation, Bramblett, 78, said that when the legendary singer/songwriter swept through his county in November of last year and got busted, he received an unambiguous message from the judge: Get Willie in here.

County Judge Becky Dean Walker, he said, refused to allow Nelson a plea-by-mail, which is typical for misdemeanor marijuana possession cases in some Texas counties.

"She said to me: 'You ain't letting him plead by mail, 'cause I'm not accepting that,'"' Bramblett explained. "I said to her, 'Why?' And she said, ''Cause I want to meet Willie Nelson.'"

Judge Walker was unavailable for comment.

Bramblett added that he'd admired Nelson even before he earned fame as a musician. In his early 20's, Bramblett said, he'd known of Nelson and loved his music.

"He's been my favorite artist all my life," he told Raw Story. "Somewhere in my past, I have a picture of Willie Nelson when he was 20 or 21 years old in Nashville. He had on a zoot suit and a flat-top haircut. [...] I don't know, I've looked for that picture the last 15, 20 years but I can't find it. I was going to get him to autograph it for me."

Decriminalize it

In a wide-ranging conversation, the elder attorney told Raw Story that he'd never tried marijuana and has only been drunk twice, "and both times on accident."

The first time he encountered people smoking marijuana, he said, was in 1972, at a concert in a public park near San Antonio.

"My wife was like, 'What's that smelly stuff around here,'" he said. "Well I look up and everyone in the damn park was smoking marijuana!"

Bramblett added that he knew it was pot because the cigarettes people were puffing on "not too professional looking cigarettes." It wasn't until he was in his mid-40s that he first encountered a significant marijuana prosecution, as a criminal defense attorney in west Texas.

"They had it in bundles, about a thousand pounds," Bramblett recalled, adding that the last time he'd seen a large quantity of marijuana it was at Texas A&M in the 1950s, where a bunch of agriculture students had been cultivating hemp.

"Not a one of 'em knew that if you smoked the goddamn thing you could get high," he said with a laugh.

He also said that the song, "I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again," was one of his favorites.

As for the drug war, Bramblett said he doesn't believe drugs should be legalized. "Especially like, heroin, cocaine, things like that I don't think we should let out there."

But when it comes to marijuana, he said, it's time to change our thinking.

Bramblett specifically said he was supportive of an effort to decriminalize pot in Texas, lowering the penalty for possessing a small amount from a Class B misdemeanor to a Class C, removing the mandatory arrest and replacing it with a fine of up to $500.

As for Willie, Bramblett insisted that he's actually not getting a better deal than anyone else.

"I usually recommend a fee, if they plead guilty," he said. "A fee and court costs, which they can just mail in."

Over 70,000 people across Texas were caught with under four ounces of pot in 2009, according to the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.

"I may not like it, but can't no one can stop people from smoking it no matter how hard you try," he said. "Besides, people on that dang weed aren't as senseless as on whiskey, I can tell you that much."

The Texas legislature, currently controlled by a Republican supermajority, was considering a bill that aimed to reduce the criminal penalties for marijuana. On those arrests alone, NORMAL claims, the state could save up to $400 million each year.

A separate bill before Texas legislators would legalize marijuana for medical uses.

Both proposals have been repeatedly shot down by Republicans.

Rolling Stone publishes graphic photos and videos from notorious Afghan ‘kill team’

By David Edwards
Monday, March 28th, 2011 -- 11:14 am
rawstory.com

Warning: This report links to highly graphic and disturbing photos

Last week, the German magazine Der Spiegel was the first to publish three photographs from a group of drug-addled American soldiers who posed with innocent Afghans they had killed.

The Der Spiegel article was disturbing enough, with blurred photos of several U.S. soldiers holding up the head of a dead Afghan, and another photo of two dead Afghan men posed together.

The 17 additional photos published by rollingstone.com Sunday (without blurring out the faces of victims) took the horror to the next level.

The Rolling Stone article accompanying the graphic photos is titled simply, "The Kill Team."
One photo shows soldiers from Joint Base Lewis-McChord's 5th Stryker Brigade following the military protocol and cutting off the clothes of Gul Mudin, an Afghan farmer.
A smiling Cpl. Jeremy Morlock and Pfc. Andrew Holmes are also pictured breaking protocol by holding Mudin's head up by his hair, posing with him in subsequent photos.
Another photo shows an Afghani that had been stabbed by "the kill team."
The magazine also noted that the Army may have been trying to suppress evidence of wrongdoing outside the 3rd Platoon. One photo that may have been taken by another platoon shows two dead Afghan men bound together and placed alongside a road.
A sign around the neck of one dead man reads: "TALIBAN ARE DEAD."
Army prosecutors insist that blame for the killings rests with Calvin Gibbs, a squad leader in 3rd Platoon. Morlock, along with five other soldiers, pleaded guilty last week to lesser crimes in exchange for their testimony.
Morlock has been sentenced to 24 years in prison.

Indiana prosecutor told Wisconsin governor to stage ‘false flag’ operation

By Eric W. Dolan
Thursday, March 24th, 2011 -- 7:32 pm

An Indiana prosecutor and Republican activist has resigned after emails show he suggested Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker stage a fake attack on himself to discredit unions protesting his budget repair bill.
The Republican governor signed a bill on March 11 that eliminates most union rights for public employees.
In an email from February 19, Indiana deputy prosecutor Carlos F. Lam told Walker the situation presented "a good opportunity for what’s called a ‘false flag’ operation."
The Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism discovered the email among tens of thousands released to the public last week following a lawsuit by the Isthmus and the Associated Press.
"If you could employ an associate who pretends to be sympathetic to the unions' cause to physically attack you (or even use a firearm against you), you could discredit the unions," Lam said in his email.

The Speech Obama Hasn't Given

 MARCH 24, 2011, 9:52 P.M. ET

Wall Street Journal.com

By PEGGY NOONAN

What are we doing in Libya? Americans deserve an explanation.

It all seems rather mad, doesn't it? The decision to become involved militarily in the Libyan civil war couldn't take place within a less hospitable context. The U.S. is reeling from spending and deficits, we're already in two wars, our military has been stretched to the limit, we're restive at home, and no one, really, sees President Obama as the kind of leader you'd follow over the top. "This way, men!" "No, I think I'll stay in my trench." People didn't hire him to start battles but to end them. They didn't expect him to open new fronts. Did he not know this?

He has no happy experience as a rallier of public opinion and a leader of great endeavors; the central initiative of his presidency, the one that gave shape to his leadership, health care, is still unpopular and the cause of continued agitation. When he devoted his entire first year to it, he seemed off point and out of touch. This was followed by the BP oil spill, which made him look snakebit. Now he seems incompetent and out of his depth in foreign and military affairs. He is more observed than followed, or perhaps I should say you follow him with your eyes and not your heart. So it's funny he'd feel free to launch and lead a war, which is what this confused and uncertain military action may become.

What was he thinking? What is he thinking?
From those questions flow many others. We know who we're against—Moammar Gadhafi, a bad man who's done very wicked things. But do we know who we're for? That is, what does the U.S. government know or think it knows about the composition and motives of the rebel forces we're attempting to assist? For 42 years, Gadhafi controlled his nation's tribes, sects and groups through brute force, bribes and blandishments. What will happen when they are no longer kept down? What will happen when they are no longer oppressed? What will they become, and what role will they play in the coming drama? Will their rebellion against Gadhafi degenerate into a dozen separate battles over oil, power and local dominance?

What happens if Gadhafi hangs on? The president has said he wants U.S. involvement to be brief. But what if Gadhafi is fighting on three months from now?

On the other hand, what happens if Gadhafi falls, if he's deposed in a palace coup or military coup, or is killed, or flees? What exactly do we imagine will take his place?

Supporters of U.S. intervention have argued that if we mean to protect Libya's civilians, as we have declared, then we must force regime change. But in order to remove Gadhafi, they add, we will need to do many other things. We will need to provide close-in air power. We will probably have to put in special forces teams to work with the rebels, who are largely untrained and ragtag. The Libyan army has tanks and brigades and heavy weapons. The U.S. and the allies will have to provide the rebels training and give them support. They will need antitank missiles and help in coordinating air strikes.
Which gets me to Mr. Obama's speech, the one he hasn't given. I cannot for the life of me see how an American president can launch a serious military action without a full and formal national address in which he explains to the American people why he is doing what he is doing, why it is right, and why it is very much in the national interest. He referred to his aims in parts of speeches and appearances when he was in South America, but now he's home. More is needed, more is warranted, and more is deserved. He has to sit at that big desk and explain his thinking, put forward the facts as he sees them, and try to garner public support. He has to make a case for his own actions. It's what presidents do! And this is particularly important now, because there are reasons to fear the current involvement will either escalate and produce a lengthy conflict or collapse and produce humiliation.

Without a formal and extended statement, the air of weirdness, uncertainty and confusion that surrounds this endeavor will only deepen.

The questions that must be answered actually start with the essentials. What, exactly, are we doing? Why are we doing it? At what point, or after what arguments, did the president decide U.S. military involvement was warranted? Is our objective practical and doable? What is America's overriding strategic interest? In what way are the actions taken, and to be taken, seeing to those interests?
Once Gadhafi is gone, will there be a need for an international peacekeeping force to stabilize the country, to provide a peaceful transition, and to help the post-Gadhafi government restore its infrastructure? Will there be a partition? Will Libyan territory be altered?

None of this sounds like limited and discrete action.

In fact, this may turn out to be true: If Gadhafi survives, the crisis will go on and on. If Gadhafi falls, the crisis will go on and on.

Everyone who supports the Libyan endeavor says they don't want an occupation. One said the other day, "We're not looking for a protracted occupation."

Protracted?
Mr. Obama has apparently set great store in the fact that he was not acting alone, that Britain, France and Italy were eager to move. That's good—better to work with friends and act in concert. But it doesn't guarantee anything.
A multilateral mistake is still a mistake. So far the allied effort has not been marked by good coordination and communication. If the conflict in Libya drags on, won't there tend to be more fissures, more tension, less commitment and more confusion as to objectives and command structures? Could the unanticipated results of the Libya action include new strains, even a new estrangement, among the allies?

How might Gadhafi hit out, in revenge, in his presumed last days, against America and the West?

And what, finally, about Congress? Putting aside the past half-century's argument about declarations of war, doesn't Congress, as representative of the people, have the obvious authority and responsibility to support the Libyan endeavor, or not, and to authorize funds, or not?

These are all big questions, and there are many other obvious ones. If the Libya endeavor is motivated solely by humanitarian concerns, then why haven't we acted on those concerns recently in other suffering nations? It's a rough old world out there, and there's a lot of suffering. What is our thinking going forward? What are the new rules of the road, if there are new rules? Were we, in Libya, making a preemptive strike against extraordinary suffering—suffering beyond what is inevitable in a civil war?

America has been though a difficult 10 years, and the burden of proof on the need for U.S. action would be with those who supported intervention. Chief among them, of course, is the president, who made the decision as commander in chief. He needs to sit down and tell the American people how this thing can possibly turn out well. He needs to tell them why it isn't mad.

In U.S. poll, 60 percent back Libya military action

By Reuters
Thursday, March 24th, 2011 -- 8:33 am

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Sixty percent of Americans support the U.S. and allied military action in Libya to impose a no-fly zone to protect civilians from forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi, a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Thursday found.

Man, I guess by now I should be use to the stupidity of the American people, but I'm not. Do these 60% realize that we are borrowing money from China to pay for all three of "our" wars? I wonder if these people believe that they can someday retire and get social security. I wonder if it has ever crossed their minds that their retirement savings will be taken over by the government. "We" should be getting the hell out of Iraq and Afghanistan, but 60% think we should start a new war. Thank God at least 40% of Americans have some degree of intelligence. If some of the 60% majority want to explain to me why they support attacking Libya please educate me, make me understand why it's such a wonderful thing to get in another war and while you're at it tell me how "we" will pay for all three wars. Tax hike? Giving up our retirement money and social security to the government? Some other way? What is it?

The Planned World War 3 - A Play in Numerous Acts
World War Three in Brief

A Three World War scenario was developed several decades ago (see Conspiratorial History). Two World Wars have already been achieved, and the Third and final World War envisions an attack on Iraq, Iran and/or Syria as being the trigger to set the entire Middle East into fiery conflagration.

Once America is firmly entrenched into the Middle East with the majority of her first-line units, North Korea is to attack South Korea. Then, with America's forces stretched well beyond the limit, China is to invade Taiwan. This will usher in the start of World War Three.

World War Definition:

What constitutes a 'world war'? How many countries need to be involved? And who decides at which point a number of regional skirmishes can be grouped together and called a World War? At the time, who called the official start of World War 1 and World War 2?

And have you noticed that although the term 'World War Three' is freely used in the alternative press and on the Internet, all the major news networks have stoically avoided using any phrase reminiscent of World War.

Since it's difficult to find a definition for an event which has only happened twice in modern history, here's my attempt at an answer to the question 'what constitutes a world war'?

A World War is a military conflict spanning more than 2 continents, in which at least 20 major countries participate in an attack against a common enemy, and which has the attention of the man-in-the-street due to the significant loss of life.

With that definition, we can agree that WW1 and WW2 were in fact World Wars (both wars involved some degree of participation from most of the world's then existing countries: Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States and the Soviet Union). We can also agree that we are very close to achieving World War 3. The only requirement left to fulfill the start of WW3 is that of a military conflict spanning more than 2 continents. As soon as Israel attacks Palestine, or North Korea attacks South Korea or the US, or China invades Taiwan, we will have the next World War well underway.
World War 3 Timeline

These are, I believe, the stages of the planned Third World War:

* Prelude - The events leading up to the start of World War Three, including Sept 11, 2001.
* Act 1 - The Middle East. Widespread conflict to bring the entire region into the flames of war, possibly triggered by Iran or militants in Pakistan using North Korean supplied nuclear arms. The first Scene in this Act is the US Invasion of Iraq on March 20, 2003.
* Act 2 - Israel at War -- Against her Arab neighbors, possibly Palestine. A Palestinian State will be established, so that all Israelis will be fully separated from Palestinians (listen out for mention of a 7-year treaty to be confirmed by a World Leader - probably Bush), only for Israel to viciously attack Palestine shortly thereafter.
* Act 3 - Far East -- "Hair-raising nuclear confrontation that threatens mankind's existence" - Peter Lemesurier, author of The Armageddon Script, p. 223, written in 1981. Includes China invading Taiwan and a nuclear eruption on the Korean Peninsula.
* Act 4 - Erosion of Confidence in 'The System' so severe citizens will be panicked into giving up liberties and Constitutional form of government. The plan calls for the dissolution of the US Constitution, triggered by a significant enough 'terrorist' attack. The ultimate intent is to introduce a global government and one-world religion.
*

Act 5 - The collapse of the US, and other Western economies and morals.
* Act 6 - Significant population reduction using natural and man-made disasters.
* Curtain. Who can tell how this war will end?

Both Biblical prophecy and the Illuminati plan state that Israel is the key. The Third World War is planned to begin when Israel goes to war against her Arab enemies. Then, and only then, will all the other elements begin to occur and they will do so in rapid succession. The plan is to have one disaster following another in such rapid succession that, before people can mentally and emotionally handle one disastrous news event, they will be hit with another. It is also accurate to say that until ALL of the elements for WW3 are in place, the plan will not commence.

While it would be naive to suggest a specific timeline for the events leading up to and including World War 3, we do know that the plans for World War 3 are well advanced, and our leaders involved in this secret plan are waiting only for the right signal before all-out war begins.

We are in the last stages of the preparation to so globalize the world that the Masonic New Age Christ (Antichrist) can appear to receive all the political and economic power of the world's rulers. This is the Illuminati plan and Biblical prophecy (Revelation 17:12-17).

In the words of Peter Lemesurier, author of The Armageddon Script:

"Their script is now written, subject only to last-minute editing and stage-directions. The stage itself, albeit in darkness, is almost ready. Down in the pit, the subterranean orchestra is already tuning up. The last-minute, walk-on parts are even now being filled. Most of the main actors, one suspects, have already taken up their roles. Soon it will be time for them to come on stage, ready for the curtain to rise. The time for action will have come."

Ladies and Gentlemen, please take your seats and welcome on stage the players of this Grand Play:

Original O’Connell’s location demolished for OU expansion

March 23, 2011
By Nanette Light The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — “Wow” — One three-letter word was all Jeff Stewart, owner of O’Connell’s Irish Pub and Grille, could muster as he watched the historic Norman landmark — frequented by Sooner fans on game days since 1968 — crash to the ground Tuesday along Lindsey Street.

“That’s something,” said Stewart, the pub’s owner since 1979, as the bulldozer seemingly bit into the front wall which, after 20 minutes, rested in a crumbled heap, now only a memory.

A crowd of onlookers — some University of Oklahoma students and longtime O’Connell’s patrons, many of whom stopped to shake Stewart’s hand or pat him on the back — shielded their eyes from the flying dust, stirred by Tuesday’s blowing wind, as they watched a piece of history fall.

As the pieces came to the ground, trombone player Andy Kooiman played “Taps” as an ode to the bar.

“It’s been here for (43) years. I haven’t been here that long. ... I’m just sad to see it go. It’s a good piece of history,” said Michael Barber, OU engineering student, as he leaned back on his motorcycle opposite of the pub along Lindsey Street, waiting for the demolition to begin.

O’Connell’s, along with the neighboring strip of stores such as Subway and a filling station, are being torn down as part of an OU expansion, which University President David Boren said earlier will include a mix of retail and student housing space.

Several years ago, Stewart opened a second location on Campus Corner after the university bought the original location’s land.

And since then, residents have had their pick between two O’Connell’s. But now, it’s down to one.

“I can’t believe it is like it is, but it’s time to go,” Stewart said, adding that the original O’Connell’s — of which he kept the front window and stained glass that once hung behind the bar for sentiments — will always be “dear” to him.

He said gameday festivities will continue as usual, just a few miles north.

“We’re going to rock and sock them on Campus Corner,” Stewart said.

Ann (Adam's Apple) Coulter

theoaklandpress.com

Ann Coulter appeared on Thursday's "O'Reilly Factor" to advance an argument that she made in a column this week: that radiation is "good for you."

There has been a high degree of concern about the levels of radiation being released into the environment due to the crisis at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan. But, in a column called "A Glowing Report On Radiation," Coulter said that many scientists have been studying the effects of radiation and have found that, as she put it," at some level--much higher than the minimums set by the U.S. government--radiation is good for you," and actually reduced the risk of cancer.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally, I never thought that Ann had much credibility, but now she has absolutely none. I don't think she really believes this B.S., I think she is just desperate for media attention. Hopefully this will be the final nail in her credibility coffin and we will never see or hear from "her" again.

United Nations: radiation is 1,600 times higher than normal at power plant

(WFRV)-- It seems as if things couldn't get any worse for the citizens of Japan. Now, there's a new problem at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant.

Water in one reactor storage pool is reported to be dangerously hot.

If the water boils away, exposed fuel rods could throw more radiation into the atmosphere.

United Nations monitoring teams say radiation levels are now 1,600 times higher than normal, about 12 miles from the complex; the limit of the government's evacuation area.

But, radiation levels drop dramatically outside that zone.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul beat out top Republican presidential hopefuls Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich in a straw poll for the second time this year.

Nearly 18 percent of Republicans voted for Rep. Paul in the straw poll conducted at a GOP Convention in Sacramento on Saturday.

He was followed by former governor Mitt Romney, who received 10.9 percent of the vote and 2010 president candidate Sarah Palin, who received 7.9 percent of the vote. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich came in fourth place, with 6.9 percent of the vote.

The informal survey was conducted by the libertarian-leaning Republican Liberty Caucus of California (RLCCA).

"Given that Congressman Paul and the RLC share a common commitment to individual rights, limited government, free enterprise and constitutional principles we are happy with the results," RLCCA Chairman John Dennis said. "In these times of big government and even bigger deficits, it is exciting to see increased conservative interest in candidates such as Paul."

The results of the RLCCA poll reflect another presidential straw poll conducted at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in February, where Paul took 30 percent of the vote, followed by Mitt Romney with 23 percent.

Paul describes himself as a libertarian and is hardly the party's typical standard bearer.

He has said his opposition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan give him an edge over other Republicans and could help him defeat President Barack Obama in a national election.

At CPAC, Paul drew thunderous applause for bashing the Patriot Act, US aid to foreign nations, and US military bases overseas during his speech. The conservative group Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) later announced that he would be expelled from the group's National Advisory Board because of his "delusional and disturbing alliance with the fringe Anti-War movement."

CBS Wants Charlie Sheen Back on 'Two and a Half Men' ... If He Makes Nice

by Joel Keller, posted Mar 21st 2011 3:51PM

If the prospect of 'Two and a Half Men' without Charlie Sheen seemed like a weird idea to you, then be assured that the folks at CBS were likely tying their stomachs in knots thinking about the same thing.

How do we know? Because apparently CBS wants Sheen to come back to 'Men,' with network honcho Les Moonves personally spearheading the negotiations to get him back.

"Moonves wants to get the show back on the air. He's all for it," a network insider told Radar Online. "He says certain people need to forget anything and everything Charlie's done recently and just move on with the business at hand."

Basically, he wants his underlings at CBS and the folks at Warner Bros., the studio that produces the show and fired Sheen earlier this month, to repair the fractured relationship between Sheen and producer Chuck Lorre. Jeff Rossen of NBC, whom Sheen called a "rock star" after their infamous interview, confirmed the negotiations from Sheen's side.

With buckets of money on the line -- not the least of which is the $100 million lawsuit Sheen filed against WB and Lorre -- it's pretty easy to try to let bygones be bygones in Hollywood. While a changed 'Men' might limp through a ninth and maybe even a 10th season, a Sheen-less show would not be nearly as attractive to advertisers and local stations bidding on the syndication rights.

There are still plenty of hoops that will need to be jumped through in order for this deal to happen, but the powers that be may have seen Sheen sell out his stage show -- including a night at the 6,000-seat Radio City Music Hall in New York -- and realized that even a loopy Sheen still has drawing power.

Stay tuned...

U.S. Government Backs Libyan Al-Qaeda While Hyping Terror Attacks Inside U.S.

Paul Joseph Watson

Achieving new heights of hypocrisy, the U.S government is hyping the threat of Libyan-backed reprisal terror attacks inside the United States, while launching air strikes in support of so-called “protesters” who have commandeered fighter jets and tanks, and are in fact Islamic fundamentalist Al-Qaeda cells who want to impose sharia law in Libya.

British MI6 and the CIA who paid Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda $100,000 dollars to assassinate Gaddafi in 1996.

In 2002 French intelligence experts revealed how western intelligence agencies bankrolled a Libyan Al-Qaeda cell controlled directly by Bin Laden to hatch a plot to kill Gaddafi that was foiled in March 1996. The cell was led by Anas al-Liby, who was with Bin Laden in Sudan before Bin Laden returned to Afghanistan.

Indeed, it was Gaddafi’s Libya who put out the first Interpol warrant for Bin Laden’s arrest in 1998. Western intelligence agencies blocked the warrant from being pursued, and allowed Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda to go on and kill more than 200 people in the truck bombings of US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.

Some of the very rebels now being funded and trained by western forces were part of the Al-Qaeda cell that tried to kill Gaddafi on behalf of the United States and Britain 15 years ago.

As the London Telegraph reports, “The West and al-Qaeda on the same side.” Libyan Al-Qaeda leaders have offered their unanimous support for the ousting of Gaddafi.

This is about giving war a new facelift, leaving the new world order free to pillage any country they like in the name of “humanitarian” assistance.

It’s a hypocrisy made more revolting by the fact that liberals who so vehemently opposed the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq are now willing to offer their enthusiastic backing for military attacks having bought the sickening lie that the likes of the United States, which kills scores of innocent people every week with predator drone strikes, has now suddenly developed a conscience for human suffering.

Obama Finally Has His Own War

A Libyan plane crashes after being shot down in the rebel stronghold of Benghazi on March 19: Barack Obama has committed the US to military action against Moammar Gadhafi.

"None of this makes any sense," the columnist Andrew Sullivan wrote in his blog for The Atlantic. Gaddafi is not a threat to the US, he argued, adding "not even the most righteous neocons" have pushed for military action on such slim grounds. Sullivan also condemned "the imperial presidency that Obama has now taken to a greater height than even Bush."

Japanese rice farmer Tsuna Kimura, 83, has an extraordinary story to tell: she escaped last week’s massive tsunami on a bicycle. Speaking to reporters about her ordeal, she claimed that at the time, she truly believed “Japan would disappear underwater.”

She also said her experiences after the quake and tsunami remind her of the country’s struggle to recover from the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of World War II.

Even having survived the disaster, Kimura tells CNN, it’s yet unclear what she and most of the displaced Japanese people will do next.

U.S. Drone Strike Kills 38 Tribal Elders from Ismail Khan village

Suspected U.S. drone strike in Pakistan, 38 killed
rawstory.com

Thursday, March 17th, 2011 -- 10:35 am

MIRANSHAH, Pakistan (Reuters) - A U.S. drone missile strike on Thursday killed at least 38 suspected militants in a Pakistani tribal region known as a haven for Taliban and al Qaeda fighters, Pakistani intelligence officials said.

There were conflicting accounts about the target of the attack and those killed in the Datta Khel region of North Waziristan. The death toll was one of the highest in a drone missile strike.

The area is a stronghold of Hafiz Gul Bahadur, a Taliban commander who harbors and sends militants across the border to fight Western forces in Afghanistan.

One official said the missiles targeted a house as elders loyal to Bahadur were trying to mediate between two warring militant groups inside.

Another official said the drone attacked a vehicle in the area that was passing by a house where local tribesmen were holding a meeting, killing them. A tribesman in the area supported his account.

"It wasn't a militant gathering, but a meeting of tribal elders from Ismail Khan village to sort out some differences over a business deal," tribesman Zia-ur-Rehman told Reuters.

"One of Bahadur's commanders, Sharabat Khan, was also present at the meeting as he is also a local elder, but they were discussing business."

There were conflicting reports about whether Khan had been killed in the attack. It was not immediately known if those in the vehicle were also hit.

The United States has been attacking al Qaeda-linked militants for the past few years in Pakistan's lawless tribal areas using drones, which are a source of worry for the government because civilians casualties inflame public anger and bolster support for the militants.

North Waziristan, where most of the drone attacks have occurred, is the only one of seven Pakistani tribal regions where Pakistan's army has not yet launched any major operation against the militants.

Washington has in recent months mounted pressure on Pakistan, its nuclear-armed ally, to go after militants in North Waziristan. Pakistan has said it will do so but on its own schedule and when adequate resources are available.

Cocaine is found at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center

A packet of white powder that was found at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, where the space shuttle launches, has tested positive for cocaine, according to NASA's Inspector General's office.

The packet contained "4.2 grams of a white powdery substance" and was "found in a NASA facility at KSC on March 7," said spokeswoman Renee Juhans on Tuesday.

"Law enforcement personnel field tested the substance -- which indicated a positive test for cocaine. The substance is now at an accredited crime lab for further testing," she said.

"A NASA OIG investigation is ongoing."

NASA has a zero-tolerance drug policy. Juhans declined to comment on exactly where at Kennedy Space Center the cocaine was found, or if any employees had showed positive results in drug tests.

On Monday, an engineer who worked for a company that contracts with NASA fell to his death while working at the Kennedy Space Center launch pad where the shuttle Endeavour is set for liftoff next month.

Asked if there was believed to be any link between the two events, Juhans said: "No comment."

The smallest and largest planets dance in the west tonight

by Phil Plait in Astronomy, Cool stuff
discovermagazine.com

If you have good eyes and a flat horizon, then you can spot Jupiter and Mercury this week as they pass each other in the night twilight.

As the planets orbit the Sun, we see their position in the sky change. Right now, Jupiter is (apparently) getting closer to the Sun every day, setting in the west a bit earlier every night. Mercury, on the other hand, is apparently moving away from the Sun, getting higher off the horizon with each passing day. On the evenings of March 14 and 15th the two planets will pass each other, with a closest approach of roughly 2° — about 4 times the width of the full Moon. That’s actually pretty close, and they’ll make a pretty pair in the west just after sunset.

And I do mean just. When the Sun sets, the two planets will be only about 10° off the horizon, where the sky will still be bright from twilight. Even though Jupiter will be shining at a magnitude of -2 (making it the fourth brightest natural object in the sky after the Sun, Moon, and Venus), and Mercury at -1, they might be a bit tough to see depending on your local conditions. Binoculars might help, but make sure the Sun is gone before scanning for the planets!

The image above is a rendering using software of what the scene might look like for you. This shows the view just after sunset, with the pair labeled. Funny, too: when I made this, I saw just how close the Sun was to setting due west. That means spring is almost here! The Sun sets due west on the equinox, which is March 20 this year.

Anyway, if you get the chance to see the two planets, take it! Jupiter will be a morning object after this, and won’t be visible unless you get up at the wee hours. Mercury moves rapidly day after day compared to other objects, and never gets very high off the horizon. Most people have never seen it, so you should grab this opportunity… after all, it’s not often the solar system’s most extreme planets flirt this way.

Inhofe: High Energy Prices Are Obama’s ‘Explicit Policy Goal’

Christopher Neefus
CNSNews.com
March 11, 2011

A prominent GOP senator on energy issues accused President Barack Obama Thursday morning of having set an “explicit policy goal” of making energy prices more costly for Americans.

“My message today is simply this: higher gas prices – indeed, higher prices for the energy we use – are an explicit policy goal of the Obama administration,” said Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla), ranking member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. “Let me put it another way: the Obama administration is attacking affordable energy.”

Inhofe’s comments come as crude oil futures traded up on anxiety over unrest in the Middle East and broke the triple-digit mark in recent weeks. As of Thursday, light crude was trading at over $101 per barrel.

Global Warming Did Not Cause The Japanese Earthquake

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
March 11, 2011

Just hours after the horrific earthquake and tsunami devastated coastal areas of Japan, global warming alarmists like the BBC are already injecting climate change propaganda into their coverage of the story, hastily exploiting the tragedy as a vehicle through which to push their increasingly desperate and discredited enviro-fascist agenda.

If you thought that climate change alarmists wouldn’t be so insensitive as to build their warped argument on the bodies of freshly dead corpses, then think again. Within 24 hours there’ll be a whole slew of neo-libs pointing to the suffering in Japan as a reason why we should hand over more untold trillions to globalists in the form of a carbon tax.

The BBC is already at it – in a discussion about a whirlpool caused by the tsunami, BBC reporter Humphrey Hawksley hastily piggy backs a dubious argument about the tiny South Pacific nation of Tuvalu disappearing under the threat of global warming on the back of dramatic pictures out of Japan. By making this completely disjointed connection, Hawksley implicitly suggests that man-made climate change also contributed to the Japanese earthquake.

In reality, alarmists’ lies surrounding Tuvalu are well documented. Al Gore’s claim in his Inconvenient Truth film that the residents of Tuvalu all had to evacuate to New Zealand as climate refugees because rising sea levels were swallowing up their homes was ruled incorrect by a British judge.

“There was no evidence of climate refugees from the Pacific having to be evacuated to New Zealand or anywhere else to escape rising seas,” explains Andrew Bolt.

While environmentalists like Professor Mohammed Dore ignorantly claim that Tuvalu is already completely uninhabited due to climate change, the 12,000 residents of the island must not have been paying much attention as their number has doubled in the past three decades.

As Bolt explains, the government of Tuvalu has cleverly exploited the doomsday proclamations of alarmists to milk grants and aid money paid for by western taxpayers, laughing all the way to the bank as the land mass of the island actually expands.

It was already clear from the Australian-funded South Pacific Sea Level and Climate Monitoring Project that sea levels in the region were rising only microscopically, much as they’d done for centuries before the invention of the motor car or the light bulb.

But now New Scientist reports that however fast the seas are rising, Tuvalu and many other low-lying Pacific islands are so far rising even faster, thanks to coral debris, coral growth, land reclamation and deposits of sediment. Some have grown by as much as a third.

Auckland University’s Associate Prof Paul Kench, one of the two authors of the study, said he compared historical pictures from the past 60 years to satellite images of 27 Pacific islands.

“Eighty per cent of the islands we’ve looked at have either remained about the same or, in fact, (grown) larger,” he said.

But the facts don’t come into the equation when you’re trying to enforce the doctrine of what amounts to a religious dogma.

So before the likes of Al Gore, Danny Glover, and the San Francisco Chronicle, who all blamed last year’s Haiti earthquake on global warming, along with the rest of the climate change cultists attempt to exploit the latest natural disaster for political grist, it is important to stress that earthquakes are caused by tectonic plate movements and have been for thousands of years – they are not caused by Bubba driving his SUV down the highway.

An earthquake occurs in Japan every 5 minutes because, as the Telegraph’s Aislinn Laing explains, “Tokyo is situated on Japan’s main Honshu island which is turn sits at the intersection of three continental plates, the Eurasian, Pacific and Philippine Sea plates, which are slowly grinding against each other, building up enormous seismic pressure that every so often is realised with ferocious force.”

Massive earthquakes were killing humans in staggering numbers before the onset of heavy industry, ubiquitous car ownership and increased levels of CO2 in the atmosphere, and they will continue to kill humans as long as we are on the planet. The 1906 San Francisco earthquake was similar in strength to today’s Japanese quake and it killed over 3,000 people, the greatest loss of life from a natural disaster in California’s history.

Attempts to claim that melting glaciers contributed to earthquakes in 2008 were initially swallowed whole by the mainstream media but subsequently discredited. Indeed, global warming alarmists themselves have been responsible for causing earthquakes. A geologist in Switzerland went on trial for causing mini-earthquakes by using deep drilling equipment to search for renewable energy. One such attempt caused a 3.4 magnitude quake to rock the city of Basel.

The horrifying consequences of the biggest earthquake to hit Japan since records began are only just beginning to be discovered, with the tsunami that followed causing massive devastation and engulfing cities and airports, and leading to the declaration of a nuclear emergency.

But that won’t stop climate change alarmists from offensively hijacking the opportunity to lecture the rest of us about how we caused the carnage by daring to maintain a decent standard of living, and how we must pay an indulgence tax to the likes of Al Gore, Maurice Strong, the Rothschilds and a gaggle of other globalists who own the carbon trading schemes.

Earthquakes are called natural disasters for a reason – they are not caused by emissions of that deadly, poisonous, toxic, hateful gas known as carbon dioxide, the life-giving substance that humans exhale and plants breathe.

However, this fact won’t give pause to alarmists desperate to sink their teeth into a new tragedy to reinvigorate momentum behind their failing effort to completely eviscerate the western middle class and concurrently destroy the third world’s hopes of ever lifting themselves out of poverty.

Ex-Goldman Sachs Analyst: “Major War” Coming End Of 2012

Massive conflict will prompt stock market collapse, predicts cycle strategist Nenner

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.com
Thursday, March 10, 2011

When cycle forecaster Charles Nenner told the Fox Business network yesterday that the Dow Jones was set to collapse to the 5,000 level on the back of a “major war” that will shake the globe at the end of 2012, hosts David Asman and Elizabeth MacDonald sat in stunned silence.

Nenner, a former technical analyst for Goldman Sachs, is head of the Charles Nanner Research Center, which purports to be able to predict market trends with a computer program based around pattern forecasting and securities analysis. Nenner predicted the stock market and housing collapse over two years before the fall of Lehman Brothers.

Nenner predicts that the Dow is heading down to just 5,000, a gargantuan drop given that it now hovers above the 12,000 level and only sunk as deep as 6,547 during the lowest ebb of the economic collapse in March 2009.

On the back of this forecast, Nenner has advised his clients to vacate the market almost entirely.

“I told my clients and pension funds and big firms and hedge funds to almost go out of the market, almost totally out of the market,” said Nenner, saying that the collapse will unfold over the course of a couple of months and that the reversal will come when the Dow hits just above the 13000 level.

What could prompt such a dramatic fall? An oil shock that could be kick-started by Friday’s “day of rage” protests in Saudi Arabia or something else?

According to Nenner, who studies war and peace cycles, the collapse will be initiated by “a major war starting at the end of 2012 to 2013,” a startling claim to which the host David Asman merely responded, “wow”.

Excuse me? A financial strategist who has been deadly accurate in the past and has just told all his clients to get out of the market predicts a “major war” that will lead to a stock market collapse and the best Asman can come up with is “wow”?

Since the hosts failed to follow up on Nenner’s astounding statement, who this war will be between and how it will start is anyone’s guess, but it seems inevitable that its roots will be in the current unrest we see spreading like wildfire across North African and the Middle East.

Protesters flood Utah statehouse as governor signs law restricting access to public records

By Stephen C. Webster
Wednesday, March 9th, 2011 -- 2:03 pm

The Utah statehouse was teeming with protesters last night, even as the governor put his signature on a new "transparency" law that would severely restrict public access to government records.

Citing in recent days a need to protect lawmakers' and constituent privacy, the Utah legislature pounced on a bill that would restrict the public's access to government records, passing it in record time and catching detractors off-guard.

Even as the public had just begin to mobilize against the legislation, the state's governor announced last night that it was a done deal.

That wasn't the news protesters were looking for last night when they gathered at the Capitol to demand Gov. Gary Herbert (R) veto the bill. He did not, but the rapid public backlash in days prior did cause Herbert did ask the legislature for a recall, triggering an amendment that would delay implementation of the laws until July 1.

Rapid response to the bill was coordinated largely on social media, with the League of Women Voters of Utah, Utahns for Ethical Government and other grassroots activists leading the charge. NBC affiliate KSL 5 TV in Salt Lake City noted that "over 100" people showed up Tuesday night to ask the governor for a veto.

Activists said they planned another major rally on Thursday at 6 p.m.

"The bill was introduced on March 2 in the Utah House and two days later, it passed the Utah Senate. After that, it was lobbed to the governor’s desk with the expectation he will rubber-stamp it over the weekend," wrote Salt Lake City Weekly columnist Jerre Wroble.

"For a bill to move with this much momentum, it must be about motherhood or apple pie, or perhaps an approaching apocalyptic danger-- a no-brainer. Nothing of complexity should move this quickly without debate or input from the people."

Lawmakers had been told that the bill, which amends Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act, would merely protect private details in constituent letters to their representatives. However, private communications between citizens and lawmakers, or even between public sector employees, is already protected by the current law.

In reality, the bill would essentially allow the state legislature to opt out of transparency requirements entirely. It would also exempt police follow-up reports, and reclassify a key legislative rules committee as a non-governmental entity. The state auditor is also exempted from open records rules, under the proposal.

Speaking to the station on Wednesday, Gov. Herbert said he did not expect the laws to take effect on July 1 in the present form and said he did not issue a veto because the legislature "had the numbers to override me."

A call seeking comment from the League of Women Voters of Utah was not returned.

Barack Obama jokes about ‘birther’ debate

By Rachel Rose Hartman

President Obama, speaking at a fundraising event Tuesday in Boston, made light of the "birther" conspiracy debate about whether he was really born in Hawaii.

I think there's nothing -- there's no weakness in us trying to reach out and seeing if we can find common ground. Now, there are going to be times where we can't. I was born in Hawaii, what can I say? I mean, I just... I can't change those facts.

The comment provoked laughter from the Democratic audience.

(Photo of Obama: Pablo Martinez Monsivais/AP)
============================================================
Let's face it, we don't know where Bary Soetoro was born, we aren't even sure what his real name is. It's fun to act like we are in the know, it's fun to laugh at the people labeled as "birthers" those who dare question the official story. I mean, were you there? He might have been born in Kenya. He may have been born in Hawaii and then given up his U.S. citizenship to go to school in Indonesia, we just don't know.
But it seems to make some people feel good to pretend to know.

"We are superior to those who don't believe!"

"We have no more evidence than they, yet we believe, why can't they?"

I can't help but think it's the same type of psychology that applies to 9-11.
The people that dare to question the official story are immediately ridiculed and labeled, no matter how ridicules the official story is.

"Why can't they believe that building 7 just fell down, into it's own footprint?"

"We do!"

Introducing Kestrel, The First Road-Ready Car Built Out Of Hemp

By Steven Kotler Posted 02.17.2011 at 3:57 pm
popsci.com

Marijuana’s fibrous cousin hemp has a long history with auto makers. in 1941 Henry Ford unveiled a car body made primarily out of organic fibers, hemp included. seventy years later, the world’s first production-ready biocomposite electric car—with hemp as the “bio”—will finally hit the streets. The Kestrel, a three-door hatchback, is made of a “hemp composite as strong as the fiberglass in boats, yet incredibly lightweight,” says Nathan Armstrong, the president of Motive industries, Kestrel’s manufacturer.

Whereas a comparably sized Ford Fusion weighs 3,720 pounds, the Kestrel will be just 2,500 pounds with the battery. this “might be the sweet spot for electric vehicles,” Armstrong says, because the car’s low tonnage means a fuel-efficiency increase of 25 to 30 percent.

To make this resilient, lightweight compound, hemp stalks are combed and rolled into a mat that is infused with a polymer resin. the hemp makes the biocomposite’s flexibility similar to the carbon fiber used in racecars.

Hemp grows fast and it’s cheap, which should keep the Kestrel’s production price around $25,000. A prototype is nearly complete, Armstrong says, and Motive plans to have thousands of its hemp-mobiles on the road by 2012.

TSA-like security coming to sidewalks and football games if we don't fight it

By Stephen C. Webster
Tuesday, March 8th, 2011 -- 1:06 pm
rawstory.com

The lawmaker behind a bill Texas that would levy felony charges against overly-touchy security personnel may be staunchly Republican, but he truly believes his cause isn't one tied to the political left or right.

"We're talking about what would be a criminal act in any other place," Rep. David Simpson (R) told Raw Story on Monday. "If you viewed someone naked without their permission or consent, or as a condition of travel, it would be sexual harassment or vouyerism. If you touched people's privates, that would be sexual assault.

"This is not a left or right issue," he added. "They are treating American citizens with great indignity, and we've got to make this right."

Though unlikely to pass -- even with a GOP supermajority in the Texas legislature -- Simpson's proposal has become a cause célèbre for civil libertarians, many of whom adamantly oppose the TSA's screening procedures.

The bill would amend a Texas statute pertaining to "the offensive touching of persons," extending it to security personnel who conduct a search "without probable cause."

That's actually the exact wording used in the Constitution in the section outlining prohibitions on unreasonable search and seizure. The legal standard for a lawful search is probable cause: a requirement that law enforcement must meet before most judges will issue search warrants.

The bill specifies that "offensive" touching which takes place as "part of a search performed to grant access to a publicly accessible building or form of transportation" would be treated as a state jail felony.

"I have broad bipartisan support for the bill -- at least seven Democrats, and one's a joint author," Simpson said. "There's about 22 other people already signed on too."

'Traveling is not a criminal act'

"What we're saying here is, these bureaucrats have gone too far," he continued. "We're not against national defense; we're not against security. We just don't want to do it at the expense of our liberties. The terrorists want to take away our liberties and here we have our very own government terrorizing innocent travelers. Traveling is not a criminal act. You need probable cause [to conduct a search].

"Unless there's reason to believe someone has an explosive or intends to commit a criminal act, you shouldn't be treating them as a criminal and that's what we're doing. It's un-American and it needs to stop. C.S. Lewis once wrote ... that tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive, and I agree with him. They're trying to make us think we're safer, but we're not."

Simpson added that children and amputees are especially vulnerable, and frequently singled out by TSA agents.

"Having a child unzip their pants in public, or even in private, should never happen," he said. "It should not happen, period."

"Sexual assault should always be a criminal act. How are we protecting our businesses outside the industry? They have cameras, they have locks and in some cases they have guns. I'm for letting the airlines determine the best method. I think you'll have some that want to compete."

"It needs to stop somewhere," he insisted. "If we don't nip this thing in the bud it's gonna come to our sidewalks, to our football games. The DHS was considering as recent as five years ago doing covert scanning of the public, but they've denied pursuing that any further. That they would consider it shows they have no regard for the Fourth Amendment."

A spokesperson with the Department of Homeland security refused to comment on the pending legislation, but noted that in many cases still, state laws do not trump the federal government.

Why is Hillary Not Defending the Rights of Saudis to Protest?

Eric Blair
Infowars.com
March 8, 2011

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had been exhaustively in front of cameras promoting the right for people to protest in Egypt, Bahrain, Iran, and Libya. She’s been touting the freedom to use social networking sites as a way for Arab people to organize against their oppressive regimes. Now, the Administration is even considering arming the opposition in Libya.

Clinton’s perpetual propaganda efforts exposed her blatant hypocrisy when a silent peaceful protester was violently removed from one of her recent speeches on the very subject. However, the hypocrisy now seems to go much deeper in her deafening silence over the prospect for protests in Saudi Arabia.

Hello Everybody:

Well, it would appear that the Vatican has finally made a triumphant return to Jerusalem (to fully understand the significance of this, please read my last installment of That Ain't Nothin').With the help of high ranking world officials, most probably like Tony Blair, we will soon see a new building where the old Upper Room once stood. The new Upper Room is necessary because the Israelis bulldozed down the old one. I guess this was done in the hope that the Christian world would forget where Jesus held his last supper. I am writing about this, for once again, one of the visions I was shown in Heaven, in 1975, has come true.

Now, with this in mind, let's take a good look at the Middle East today. Two years ago, Zbigniew Brzezinski, one of the founders of the Trilateral Commission, made a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations. He stated that as the elite internationalists, or those I refer to as, The One Worlders (Globalists), might well encounter more than a few problems as they tried to execute their plan for collapsing the western world economy while moving its manufacturing and consumer base back to the emerging nations of the East.

You see, in order to fulfill this long-held goal, they would have to severely weaken and ultimately collapse the US dollar. That would mean the dollar would no longer be the World Reserve Currency as it was declared - the Bretton Woods system- in 1944. Once the US dollar was officially made the World Reserve Currency, that meant that oil could only be bought in dollars. However, as 2002, the Powers that Be decided to change the World Reserve Currency from the US dollar to a" basket currency" so that the value of oil could be measured in the strength of several currencies, not just one. This decision was made when it became evident that the Near and Far East were becoming the new emerging super consumer world market. At this point, the West is now viewed as a market that has reached it's peak and must be replaced.

In order to succeed at collapsing the West, the Globalists had to increase the price of oil and double the price of food. These two aims would be an insidious way of accomplishing their vile plan. If you doubt what I am saying, just take a look at the increase in your grocery bills over the past three years or so. And how much more are you paying at the gas pump? Oh, and let me add one more ingredient to this plot:: more and more wars were initiated in order to keep creating debt and consuming treasury. Don't you find it very interesting that President Obama made a promise to pull our forces out of Afghanistan and Iraq by the summer of 2011 yet, he recently changed that timeline to 2014 or beyond? This proves that the perpetuation of war with undefined enemies is increasing our debt, by forcing us to print more and more dollars in order to sustain the crumpling of our economy. We are seeing, without a doubt, that late President Dwight Eisenhower was 100% right when he warned us to be aware of the destructive powers of the Military Industrial Complex.

Brzeninski, being the brilliant strategist he is, saw that there could be one great drawback to the execution of this global plan: the young, educated, job-hunting men and women of the westernized world, along with the recently unemployed middle-class workers, would realize what was happening. At that point, it would be quite possible that this demographic would become astutely politically conscious and demand change. We are now seeing the number one fear of the Globalists coming to fruition. The rise of the third party in America, The Tea Party, will continue to evolve. The massive protests we recently witnessed in Egypt and Tunisia - which led to the collapse of those political systems - are just the beginning of what I believe will be a domino-effect that will soon circle the world, as it includes South America, Spain, Iran, Yemen, Greece, Mexico and Ireland, just to name a few. It is not extremists or terrorists who are marching to oust these corrupt political regimes. It happens to be everyday working people, just like you and me, wishing only to support their families and live free lives. So they have banded together to stand up and march against the grand plan to turn us into sheep worldwide. Let me vehemently state that I am very proud of all those who have courageously empowered themselves to be free, by taking to the streets in protest around the world.

With these tremendously brave acts to inspire us, it is my sincere hope that we in America will soon take to the streets as well. And this should happen very soon when you consider the fact that we, as a nation, are the greatest debtors in the world. America borrows 70% of all the available money in the world! At this rate, within ten years, the interest alone on our debt will be more than the gross national product of the United States. For this reason, the 2012 Presidential election will be the most important election in the history of America. Please help and support the evolution of a third party. It is our patriotic duty to challenge the status quo, to question to motives of our officials, and confront those actions being taken to decrease the might and greatness of America and the principles upon which it was founded. It is true: we are the ones we have been waiting for, and we must understand that we are the ones who must take action to make the difference now.

With love and purpose,

Dannion
